STUNNING RESORT STUDIO NEAR UNIVERSAL

I just selected the location based on a event I needed to attend, so I did not participate in anything that was offered. I did visit the market, which has everything you would need. I visited the restaurant for takeout. We ordered some wings, which were good and a salad but they forgot the dressing and the utensils. I just had a one bedroom and it was clean, but due for a refresh. The room needs light fixtures. They only have light on the nightstands and two lights over the bed, so if you don't open the vertical (Yup- the old ones) blinds you basically have no light. The blinds do not block out the lights from the parking lot so you need to be able to sleep with the night lights coming in. It has a kitchen area that has a toaster, microwave, mini fridge, coffee pot, and dishes. They do supply you with coffee, dish soap, dish towel, and paper towels. They only give you four washcloths, hand towels, and bath towels. So if you plan on staying more than 3 days this could create and issue. It has a huge old jetted tub in the bathroom that I can't imagine anybody using for all kinds of reasons. They do supply toilet paper and tissue but it is one ply. The bed was comfortable and the AC works great. They do give you a table with two chairs to eat your snacks, and food, but no light over the table to see. All in all okay for a short stay for an outside event, however I would not book this resort again.

There was a lot to offer and the resort was in a great location. The host was responsive and even handled my last minute request. I would gladly book again.

Refused entry to my 20 yr old son My son and his girlfriend also 20 where going to spend the weekend here.

Location and property were perfect for my little getaway!

Overall I loved the property; When we arrived we were greeted as soon as we walked in & check in process was smooth. We had a driver take us to our room in a golf cart & overall the resort was very nice! When we got to our room, there was a bug in the shower on the ceiling which it’s Florida so I get bugs are going to be everywhere. My only other complaint was there wasn’t clean sheets/blankets in room so we called and asked for some brought up. The blanket they brought to our room was mildew smelling. Other than that it was a nice room, nice property with a lot to do. We were unaware the water park was 25/person so it would’ve been nice if that’s in the description before booking etc.

Great place to stay. The location was convenient and the staff was great. I highly recommend.

Would stay again, very clean very close to everything.

Westgate Lakes Resort & Spa: A Great Vacation StartOur two-night stay at Westgate Lakes Resort & Spa (May 9-11) was a fantastic prelude to our 10-day vacation before moving to Vacation Village at Parkway.Check-in was Red Carpet Service with excellent, welcoming staff and great service throughout. The resort truly has an abundance of amenities with lots to do, including a central water park. We enjoyed the relaxed yet bustling atmosphere. Its location is a huge plus, being very close to Universal and Disney parks. Our room, right on the water, was cozy with a wonderful jetted bathtub.Frustrating VRBO Host CommunicationWhile the resort was great, our VRBO host communication was severely frustrating. My attempts to confirm the reservation via Westgate's 800-number failed (direct front desk calls are needed for third-party bookings). When the host eventually called with me, they found it but then repeatedly cut me off and refused to provide the direct number I needed for anniversary arrangements, insisting I didn't need it. My follow-up chat message went unanswered. This poor host communication significantly marred the booking experience.Highly RecommendedDespite the host issue, I'll absolutely rent from Westgate Lakes Resort & Spa again! This was my third visit, and it's now a planned annual stop before our Vacation Village stay. The resort consistently delivers an excellent experience.

Loved everything there!

We loved our stay here. Jake and the resort staff were more than happy to help us with check-in, the check-out process, and pur room, which was massive, but definitely gave you the comforts of home. We would gladly stay here again.

The unit was amazing, as was it’s proximity to the theme parks. So convenient! However, considering the amount of guests they have checking in, they should have more staff to help them with the check-in process. Aside from that, it was fantastic!!! I would definitely consider staying there again.

Our whole family loved the whole vibe of the community this place has. With shops, places to eat, and places to play all within the confines of the resort.

My daughter and I stayed here for spring break and it was a great stay. Check in was smooth and location is great. About 15 mins to Disney and Universal, less than 10 to Sea World. Resort is well kept and there’s lots of options to keep kids entertained. Owner communicates well!

Went to the incorrect Westgate; then realized at check in I was 30 minutes away. This was when Disney traffic let out. Not fun

The resort was great. It was convenient to the conference I was attending at the convention center. The room was spacious and clean.

Easy check in/out process and close to Universal

Everything was great including the location to the Orange County convention center. The only downside was there was no hot water on our third day.

We were completely amazed when we got to the property then blown away when we seen our room in person

We chose this property because of its location and closeness to Universal Studios. It was so nice to be able to take backroads rather than congested major highways. There were other conveniences in the area as well. Check-in was smooth, and we found the room to be clean and well supplied. It was just as described. The property manager was also very communicative. We would definitely stay here again.

Loved this place , will definitely be back. Close to everything! Everything is about 10-15 miles away. Great restaurants / theme parks. Friendly staff.

The resort was Amazing and The Accommodations also. We were in town for the Cheer Nationals and visiting Universal Studios, so everything was in close proximity. I truly enjoyed myself. Thank You so Much!

The studio was spacious, check in with the front desk was super simple and quick, and the resort was beautiful! So many things to do on property, but it’s also very close to universal. Overall it was an amazing stay and we would love to come back

My daughter and I stayed for a couple nights for her birthday. The resort made us feel welcome and ensured she had a wonderful birthday!

The the room was as described nicely, clean, and well appointed. The one downfall was that we really couldn’t enjoy the balcony because we were facing the pool and they were playing loud electronica music all day in order to try to drown out the four road noise. The property is very noisy.

The property was good. Very large hotel. The only issue is car traffic if you need to drive somewhere. If using Apps for directions. Avoid I4, look for alrenative routes.rRoute 4
