Relax at Marriott's Desert Springs Villas II: Cozy Studio, Golf & Resort Bliss!

I love the Marriott Resorts in Palm Desert. Shadow Ridge is my favorite for multiple travelers, but the Villa studio was great for my solo stay.

Resort is very nice, 3-rd time stayed here with friends and family, everybody likes it.

Very nice room. Fantastic balcony! We ordered poolside food and it came quickly and was good, but not correct. We didn’t bother doing anything about it because we were not wanting to deal with it when trying to just enjoy the day.

Beautiful property and excellent location for the tennis garden in Indian Wells. Clean villa with small kitchen and balcony with beautiful view. Pools are well maintained and the food/drinks poolside are excellent. Staff are very friendly.

Stayed in a studio unit. Was perfect for one person, or even a couple. Comfortable king size bed, patio area or balcony, nice size bathroom, sitting area, and a kitchenette. Already booked the same for next year.

Perfect for our family... safe... calm and relaxing... perfect space... covenient kitchenette area.... Location, perfect... about 10 min from Tennis Garden.

Staff was very friendly and rooms very clean.

We have never been in a situation where you are asked to strip your sheets and collect towels etc. and take your garbage out at the end! Since there is also no housekeeping during the stay, the repeated requests for tips is a little over the top. We didn’t use any of the resort amenities, so can’t say much about that. But it looks great. Would go there again.

Clean rooms nice staff

The water pressure in the shower was extremely low. It felt like I was at a hotel. Not satisfactory given this is a resort. I needed a handicap parking spot and there was only one spot which was always taken. Vehicles were parking in the handicap spot that had no Handicap placard or plate on the vehicle. It was very challenging. For what it cost, I won't be staying here again.

Staff was amazing always keeping busy and attentive. Extremely helpful and made the stay very comfortable. The studio had everything we needed and the washers and dryers being free was a nice unexpected amenity. We enjoyed out stay in this lovely villa community. Everything was so clean and well kept.

While the facility is beautiful, the overall stay was poor. A loud humming noise vibrated throughout the room and made it difficult to rest. Because of this, I wouldn’t choose to stay here again.

The staff was friendly and hard working. We noticed clean towels all the time!

The grounds were beautiful, location was great, property was clean and well maintained, our room had everything we needed and more. Simply an awesome week.

Incorrect advertisement, the property never had a kitchen stove as opposed to what was advertised. Also , the check in and check out time was incorrectly advertised as 7 PM and 7 PM respectively while the actual check in and check out times were 4 PM and 10 AM.

Property was just as described. Clean. Check-in process was smooth. Nice pools. Within 10-15 mins of good restaurants and shopping. 25 minute drive to downtown Palm Springs.

We stayed in the newer building down the street from the main building (check in area) and pool. We loved the location. Very quiet, great pool and hot tub, laundry room next to pool with 2 free washer and dryers. Some of the rooms are smaller and do not have laundry so the added bonus of the laundry room was great! Our room, kitchenette, sheets, towels, carpet, couch, shower etc.. super clean! Covered parking was nice especially since we were there during an unusually warm spring 104!! Pickle court is located right across from our building. Immaculate grounds. There is also an area next to pool for games, grill, ice machine and lobby. Can’t say enough good things. Very happy with our rental and the price was right!

The room was great. The resort was great. The only issue we had was getting our luggage to and from the front lobby to our room. There weren’t clear instructions from the front desk. After a bit, arrangements were made to help us get to our room. We had the same issue checking out. We did follow instructions in that process.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay. We loved our villa and everybody was so sweet and helpful.

We enjoyed staying here! Close to Indian Wells with pools and tennis courts near. The room itself was clean with a lovely balcony overlooking the golf course. Would stay here again!

A beautiful property with a lot of activities available. Great golf, excellent pool facilities, lots of space to take walks and some nice food options. Nice views from most of the rooms. We stayed in the Villas, but there is a shuttle that connects them to the main Marriott property, which is a must see.

The staff was amazing! There were plenty of activities for all ages. A big shout out to Abraham who conducted the Aqua Fitness classes.He definitely made the class so much fun! The property was clean and well kept.

We enjoyed our stay!!

This property was perfect for our stay in Dessert Springs. We used it as our base for attending the Indian Wells tennis tournament and it worked out great. We made good use of the kitchenette and spent time by the pool which was right outside the unit. We will stay again when we return for the tournament.

The Marriott Desert Springs Villas II are a beautiful and perfectly manicured property. Our studio was extremely clean and was supplied with coffee maker, toaster, small fridge with freezer, and microwave. Dishes, utensils, glasses, dish towels and cloths, dish soap, paper towels were also provided. We asked for extra coffee packets and they delivered them promptly. Communication with the office was great and someone responded quickly. We loved the golf course view from our balcony! Parking is free and there is a parking garage right by the condos. There is a community area with cute strings of lights, tables and a grill. We highly recommend this property and will definitely book it again on our next trip!

To small for a fourteen day stay! We will not be back!

yes, the only thing was a T.V. issue that after 3 visits got it corrected. It was during the Olympics so it was a big deal. they just changed the HDMI cord then it worked perfect.

Everyone was very welcoming and the place was very clean! Enjoyed all they had to offer as well. The group stretch every morning, the pools, hot tubs and pickle ball cts were very nice.

Loved how clean and roomy the studio was. Only disappointment was that sitting on the patio was awful, with 3 trees blocking your view. Loved the shuttle to JW Marriott hotel and having it there. Pool great.

Great resort. Stayed here for a conference held at the JW Marriott next door and loved that there was a shuttle and resort amenities available for us to use.

The resort itself was very beautiful and picturesque. The amenities were very good. The two golf courses on the premises were excellent, the pool areas were great, and BBQs were scattered throughout so that you could cook something for dinner. We stayed in a bachelor suite. It was generally good, although not like the pictures we had seen online. The pictures showed a kitchenette with a sink, which we did not have. We had to wash our plates/cutlery in the bathroom sink. The pictures also showed a more modern/renovated decor, however, our room was a bit outdated. The AC was also very loud when it kicked in. Overall the stay was good.

The room was clean, conveniently located. We missed having a dishwasher.

The check-in process is not efficient. The line was 20 people. Marriott had all 5 check-in stations working but the line did not move. I left & returned at 7pm and it took 10 minutes. The unit was nice but the location on the property was extremely loud because it faced a busy street. Could not sit outside on little deck it was so loud or have sliding door open. Ask for an inside facing unit. Further deep on the property . this location is surrounded by very busy streets on all sides so no way to prevent noise but an inside facing unit could help. This unit was on the end & Hovely Lane was visible from the door & patio Was not relaxing and couldn’t work with the door open.

Check in and check out was seemless. The amenities at this place are fantastic. Always something going on from Yoga in the morning to wine socials in the early evening to keep you busy when you are not golfing.

An amazing, relaxing stay. Felt so safe and welcoming. Dan, the security and welcoming committee, was so great! Quiet if you needed quiet and lively if you needed lively.

We enjoyed the pool classes taught by Abraham. He was enthusiastic & it was obvious he loved his job. We attended 3 days of his class.

Easy, practical, clean and no fuss. Having access to a nice pool and hot tub ager a day of exploring (or golfing) is really nice. Would stay here again.

The place is exceptional!

Unfortunately, our stay was really frustrating due to ongoing WiFi issues. The internet was unreliable throughout the trip, and the cell signal was also very poor, which made it even harder to stay connected. Communication with reception was disappointing—there didn’t seem to be any tracking of message threads, so we constantly had to repeat ourselves and explain the same issues over and over. The responses often felt canned and not very helpful.We ended up having to move rooms twice due to the lack of internet service and an unpleasant odor in the rooms, which was exhausting and took away from what should have been a relaxing stay. The only time we felt like things were truly addressed was when we finally spoke directly with the resort manager, who was helpful and worked to resolve the situation.One important note: the property manager/host is a third party and did not assist with any resort-related issues, so you’re essentially on your own when problems come up.That said, the resort itself has a lot going for it. The gym, pool, facilities, and restaurants were all very nice. I just wish the communication, room issues, and basic connectivity had been handled better from the start.

The grounds were gorgeous and so well maintained. There was such a nice pool, hot tub and free laundry service. Great suite. Will be back.

The Palm Desert Villas are very nice. I played golf at the golf course at JW Marriott which was in great shape!

Gated community with welcoming staff, right next to the pool which had trivia one day, great food in the area.

This is a great resort. It is big but there is lots of space, good parking (including some covered), great pools, clean units and discounts for various local restaurants. The onsite golf courses are beautiful and in great shape! Definitely will be back!

This property exceeded our expectations. The location is perfect. All staff were welcoming, friendly, helpful and informative. The unit was well equiped for even an extended stay. There was a nice balcony with views of the golf course. Multiple pools and a shuttle to them all.

Everything was great! We had a little trouble checking in , We had the wrong confirmation number, They quickly emailed us and we were able to get checked in!!

Great place to have a quiet weekend getaway. Our unit was right across from one of the pools, so it was very easy to head back and forth.

This place was perfect!!!! Clean, quiet and the pool was conveniently by. I even participated in water aerobics with the most fun instructor. The pool was completely filled for it! Wasn’t super busy so I could get to the pool at 7 and be there by myself until 9:30-10:00. Can’t say that’s always the case. Didn’t use the gym next to the pool but looked in and very clean. Very nice staff. Everyone you walked by said hello. I would easily stay here again! 10/10

Clean room, beautiful property and great pool options! This was such a dream for my kids, they have the most incredible kids center on site with a movie room, indoor playroom, outdoor playroom and various activities for free and for purchase I cannot recommend this place more! Drink specials by the pool and a phenomenal burger from the poolside restaurant were added bonuses. I wish we had planned more time at the hotel itself. We will be back!

just a quick trip! Long Memorial Day weekend. Place was crowded and still very enjoyable. Bed was comfortable, room was clean.

The studio villa was perfect for our short stay. It was clean, comfortable and had a charming balcony. On the negative side, I did not realize that there would be no place to have breakfast or buy anything near us. We were in the Jasmine entrance and the main check in with the amenities and concierge was not in walking distance. Also, I did not appreciate being asked to assist housekeeping by stripping our bed, removing our trash, and washing our dishes. The staff were helpful and considerate.

We loved are stay. The room provided everything we required and the property was beautiful. We would definitely stay there again.

The property has always been well maintained. We have stayed in other units before and they are always nice. One evening we thought we would check out the gym but it was actually the activity room and we got to partake in game night.

Wanted a warm and relaxing vacation. Explored near by Joshua Tree park, did daily runs in the neighborhood and enjoyed all the amenities of the resort. (Tennis, ping pong, fitness center, pools, hot tubs) Everything was wonderful. We loved BBQing our evening meals and eating on our patio.

Consistently noisy geese on the nearby pond was our only negative. Otherwise very nice.

Everything we’ve come to expect from a Marriott timeshare property. Lock off was surprisingly spacious and well equippped.

Excellent stay Marriott folks were at best adequate in their roles

Marriott is tried and true. This was a basic hotel room inside but within a larger villa complex so it didn’t feel like staying in a hotel. Pools were lovely. Bathroom is large to accommodate wheelchair access. Location was very central, being about 15 mins from everything. Golf course was difficult but pristine. Would definitely stay again.

The stay was great and we hope to be back again. The property had fun amenities for our kid, but should update that there is no longer a playground on site. Any minor issues were resolved by the property quickly - a broken coffeemaker and a tv that automatically turned on the Home Screen at 3am each day until we unplugged the tv at night. Even with those things, we hope to be back. Booking was clear and easy and we really enjoyed out stay.

Staying at this Marriott property is always a pleasure. We had a hard time communicating with the rental agent (Koloa). Took a long time to confirm rental and was of no use when we wanted to extend our stay. We love this property and will return when we can. Heating in our unit did not operate correctly so Marriott gave a a small discount to compensate.

Liked the layout of the unit. Noisy neighbors above us.

We had such a good time walking there 3 mile loop, I did morning aerobics in the water every day with Abraham and it was fabulous, and we laid by the pool and got some much-needed vitamin D. We went to shields State Farm and really enjoyed the date shake, and learned that we need a reservation for Cliffhouse at least a week in advance. Everyone here was really kind, and very accommodating, and a great stay overall! Will be sure to tell others about this place!

Great location, great price. This condo has balcony directly on airport. No elevator but best to choose 2nd floor(10steps) for views. Has coffee maker toaster, microwave, small refrigerator, dishes, cups, silver for 2. Iron annd hairdryer provided. Ice and pool/hot tub directly across the driveway. Grocery close by I used an uber. Hourly bus shuttle over to Marriott hotel which has several Restaurants. 6 uber to Less expensive restaurants off site but close. 20-25 min to PS airport. Wish I had all this info prior to my conference.

The property and units are well maintained and staff helpful with any problems we encountered. The pool, hot tub and laundry areas were all up to the good standards that we expect from a Marriott vacation property. We would rent here again.

We love coming to the Marriott resort in the winter from the cold Midwest. Nice room, good location and plenty to do. Reserving the room was hardest part. it took a week to confirm. When I wanted to extend the stay it took 2 weeks to get a no. I made another reservation so the Marriott let me stay in the same room. Marriott is a great place to stay.

The property was great! We were lucky to have weather nice enough to use the pool. Appreciated the pool bar/restaurant. Loved renting bikes and exploring the whole property. Unit was clean and just as expected. Will request a unit not facing the road next time as noise from the road was a bit annoying. Overall a great stay!

I wish I had time to enjoy the property more. Amenities are great. I was in town for a conference and barely had time to do more than sleep there. The only thing I got was an hour in the hot tub!

The location and studio were great! The staff was pleasant and there are many amenities at this resort.

My teenage daughter and I enjoyed staying here during her lacrosse tournament. We liked the setting and felt safe with the gated access to villas. The room was comfortable for the two of us and the staff were helpful. I would stay there again.

We had a great stay in Palm Desert. Easy access to many golf courses, which was important as we ubered everywhere. The shuttle system at the resort made it easy to get around to the main hotel and many restaurant choices. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. The hot tub at the end of the night each day was a perfect way to end the day. The room was clean and comfortable, and a great view sitting on the deck having coffee each morning overlooking the golf course. Yes, we would definitely come back and stay here.

Great place to stay for our visit with our son, friends, and golfed a few days. Beautiful view from the patio. Nice hot tub. Was a little cool to use pool. Great golf course on site. Our grandson was able to stay with us one night and we had plenty activities to keep him busy. Easy to get to, great location in the valley. Plenty of room even with being a studio. Would definitely stay here again.

Awesome place, very clean, safe and quiet with lots to do. Friendly staff, lots of pools and a very well-equpped fitness center. The place is big enough, though, that I had to drive to the fitness center. The only negative is that the sidewalks through the complex are not continuous so everyone walked in the street. Otherwise an awesome place that we would recommend to anyone.

We were staying for soccer tournament in Indio, so this was a great location not too far from fields.. Price was great and beautiful property.

The check-in process at the Marriott Villas was super easy. The room was the very comfortable and clean and to the point where all the chrome was shined! From our small patio we had a lovely view of the golf course and pond, and a panoramic view of the hills. This resort offers activities all day and has a park course for walking around the property. There is even a shut bus to take you around as well. We definitely will be returning for future vacations.

We have been to resort before and the room was just as expected and the resort is lovely and big with pools and golf course views. All arrangements were as presented and extremely quick and efficient communication and checkin and checkouts.

Came for a conference and stayed a couple extra days to enjoy Palm Desert. The Villas are a beautiful place to stay. Rooms are very clean. The smaller pools could use some cleaning through the day, there were lots of bugs and a film of oil covered the top. We didn’t try the main pool. Very satisfied otherwise.

Although my stay was short, it was very pleasant. The staff was helpful and friendly, the check in line was a bit long, but overall the stay was great. My event was less than 20 minutes away and it was easily accessible.

Everything I needed for a few days off in the desert.

The complex is very large but walkable. There’s a walking path/sidewalk of 3 miles all around the complex. Suites was clean and had everything we needed. Pools games & activities daily, some with a small charge. Amble parking, which you need a car in this area. Checking in and out was a breeze and quick. Friendly grounds crew and staff.

A very nice studio apartment. Clean and functional. Unfortunately the weather was way too hot so hard for outdoor activities unless you do them early in the morning. Great golf too
