Base Camp-Luxury Desert Oasis with 2 Pools & Game Room

It is a beautiful house right up next to hiking trails. We really enjoyed our stay there. We had 6 adults and 4 children and everyone had a room and even extra rooms. The pool and hot tub were used alot since it was 100 degrees every day. The primary suite doesn’t have a closet nor due some of the other bedrooms. Just thought you should know that. Otherwise, we had a great family trip

Family celebration with adults and kids. The pool was the hit with all and the beautiful setting. Kitchen very well equipped. Management responded quickly to questions and sent maintenance when needed. (Minor problem). Will definitely return if given the opportunity.

We loved the mountain view and the desert serenity. We will come back!

We had an amazing stay at basecamp for my bachelorette party! There was plenty of space for our group and everyone felt super comfortable and spaced out. The house was clean, beds were comfortable, the amenities were amazing and the host communication was clear and easy. I'd love to come back to Basecamp in the future!

We celebrated my mom’s 70th birthday at Basecamp and it was absolutely incredible! The property was beautiful, spacious, and perfect for our family gathering. Everything was well-kept, thoughtfully designed, and made for such a memorable celebration. We all had a great time and would definitely recommend it for any special occasion or getaway.The only small thing I wish the property had on hand was a broom and a pair of scissors — otherwise, everything was perfect.Thank you for helping make such a milestone celebration so special!

Came for a bachelorette trip and it truly was an amazing experience. Lots of room and lots of things to do on the property. Jen was super helpful with decor, chef, and things to do recommendations.

This is our third time staying at this house and we absolutely love it. The location is second to none and the outdoor space is a dream. The views from the pool cannot be beat, the access to the hiking trails is literally right at the bottom of the street and the house is so pleasant you don’t want to leave but if you do there is great shopping and restaurants a very short drive away. Yet another wonderful and relaxing vacation at this house for our very satisfied family.

The property is spacious and well stocked. The outside offers two pools and everything you could ask for to have a relaxing stay. The management is very responsive. We had a group of 8 and we had a great time. We will come again.

It is truly hard to put into words how perfect this home was for my sister's bachelorette, and how seamless the host made our stay. If you are hesitating at all, book now, you will not regret it! The home is exactly as pictured, if not better in real life. Jen and her team were impeccable hosts, always responsive and were so thoughtful, even leaving crumbl cookies for the bride at check in. If I had any concerns or questions, they were addressed within minutes, no matter the time of day. The property is private and safe but close to a Target and shopping center so it was truly the best of both worlds. We opted to hire the private chef one night and enjoyed an amazing dinner under the stars. This trip will be one we will always remember and we are grateful to this team for making it so perfect!

The house is incredibly luxurious. There were a couple bugs with the Sonos sound system and with the front gate but the company was sent out to fix the errors in good time. Overall had a very good experience and appreciated how communicative the team was. The house and backyard are gorgeous and close to restaurants grocery stores and about 35 min from downtown Palm Springs.

This was a fantastic property. The home, yard, and surrounding area were all awesome. A great space to have friends and family enjoy outdoors and meals together. Highly recommended. Also hiking the great desert trails by walking out the front door.

This was our group's second time staying at Base Camp, and we were so happy to come back. The tranquil vibe captured the essence of our retreat weekend. All the rooms are well designed and kept, and the little details, like the welcome Crumbl cookies, were such a nice touch. The house is stocked with most everything that you need, so there was nothing to worry about. Our team can't wait to come back next year!

Great house for a big group. We were 4 families and the house never felt crowded. The casita rooms are in the garage conversion so that's something to be aware of. They felt a little removed and not as chic as the rest of the house. We stuck some of the older kids in there. The kitchen has literally everything you could ever need in terms of equipment and it was a pleasure to cook meals in. We also loved the outdoor grill. The neighborhood has a strict noise policy so this is not the house to come to if you plan on playing music past 9pm but we appreciated the quiet. The location is wonderful. It's within easy driving distance from shops and restaurants but feels remote once you're on the property.

The property is absolutely gorgeous and extremely private. It's a wonderful location, with a beautiful and close view of the mountains. We had a wonderful time. The host is very responsive. The pools are beautiful, the fire pit was cozy, we had fun grilling dinner in the back yard and even the hammocks were a great way to unwind. Two minor things to be aware of: to get there, you drive for a (very) short distance onto a dirt road. We thought we had to be going the wrong way, but we weren't (Jen's directions are clear on this). The house is that private! Also, since the house is quite close to the mountains, the sun drops behind the mountains earlier in the day. We visited around Christmas and the sun was behind the mountains by around 3:30pm which made us a bit chillier outdoors. As the days get longer, that would be different and it'd even be an advantage in the summer months. Overall, we had a great time as a family and would love to do it again.

We had a fantastic stay at this property as a group of 10. The yard is beautiful and secluded. There is lots to do around the property and the beach volleyball court was a hit. We loved the mountain hikes that are right off the property. The hosts were very responsive and we were able to sort out anything we needed. The property is in an excellent location very close to lots of shopping. We would stay here again, and we highly recommend this property to others.

We had a really wonderful time staying here. The home is beautiful and was able to fit our entire group comfortably. The pool and backyard area was perfect to just relax and enjoy our time. Communication with the host was excellent, she always got back to us quickly. The only thing to be aware of is Palm Springs has very strict noise rules and this home is in a location where sound can travel. Even with that would totally book this place again and go back. Relaxing and beautiful, we had a great time.

The house was perfect for our multi-generational family get together! Lots of communal and private space, not to mention all the fun games and amenities on site, from the hot tub and pools to the bocce court/ping pong table. Jen was very responsive to all our needs during our stay from providing softer pillows to quickly replacing a broken coffee grinder. She also recommended a private chef and other services prior to getting there - and that made organizing the trip super easy. The setting is beautiful, quiet and feels quite remote. Yet, whole foods, target and lots of restaurants are within 5-10 mins drive. We really enjoyed our stay and totally recommend this spot! It's our first time to Palm Desert and we're looking forward to future visits.

Everything about this house and the property managers was amazing. They were super responsive, accommodating and super nice. It made the experience that much better. It was the perfect spot for my bachelorette party and I will 100% be back. The house has privacy but is close to the downtown palm desert area. The only thing that would be better is the barroom situation got a little tight at times. But there was 14 girls in one house.
