Large Private Suite in Oceanfront Resort Hotel - 2 Bed, 2 Bath, Full Kitchen

Nice beach and tiki bar and grill. Rom was clean with all the amenities we needed.

Upon walking into the rental, we were granted by a musty/mold smell. The rental would be more appropriate for college kids looking for a crash pad for spring break rather than a family trying to escape the northeast cold weather. The hotel was a mix of hotel rooms to rent, vrbo, rental units, and personal owned units. VRBO and rental units were third class citizens advising renters to use parts of the beach to the side. It was no surprise to learn from local residents that both the hotel and tiki bar were featured on rescue shows because they were both in a sorry state. Amenities were an add'tl charge:Use of gym 20, Beach towels (thought to be included) 6 Beach chairs (outside chairs not allowed) 14 *These added significant costs after a 6 night stay. It appears cleaning was skipped from the previous rental after seeing a significant amount of dirt/mold, dust on lightbulbs, and dust in shower fans. There were several interesting aspects to the room as the closet door rather than being repaired shows that someone took an excessive amount of duct tape to fix. Or the 25 vacuum in the unit that we tried to use to vacuum up sand from the beach had been zip tied rather than replaced completely. My texts upon arriving were immediately returned providing us with the code for the door, but unfortunately my texts the next day went unreturned asking about issues with the showers as there was no hot water in one of the showers for the length of the stay.

Elizabeth, property manager, was very responsive. First night the ac in queen room wasn’t putting out air so it was uncomfortable, but she had a repair person out the next day. Place is super dated, especially bathrooms and kitchen. Should be noted that laundry is in the queen room. Listing says there is a balcony and a deck/patio. There is not. It is an enclosed glass room that has a window you can ope. You can view the ocean if you stick your head out and look to the right. The kitchen stove has eyes that don’t work. Cookware should be replaced. Cabinets don’t close well and you can’t open dishwasher if sink cabinet isn’t completely closed. There was also a leak of some sort coming from the utility closet in the living area. We put something there to catch it since there was an HVAC person just there. The bedding in queen room is rough and should be replaced; pillows are also quite flat. Additional fridge, Tiki hut restaurant/bar and Italian restaurant were definite pluses.

They property was in a great location and very well organized. The valet parking was very convenient and affordable. The condo itself was adequate and comfortable aside from a leaking ac unit in the living room. It could use some upgrades as it is an older unit. The beds were comfortable and we all had our own space for my family of 4.

Needs new stove if your going to cook one burner works full blast and small burner works only on low the tv in the living room we never got to work but we had tv in the bedrooms so it didn’t bother us the space was great the room was located just off elevators not real updated but was good for our family’s stay the property manager was great gave you all info you needed for parking and check in and out hotel is great Italian food is wonderful great pool and beach location tiki bar is nice

We stayed 4 nights and this location was perfect. We were on the beach in minutes and the area was beautiful and perfect for a family. The unit was spacious and in good condition. They do need a new oven/stovetop. One burner didn't work at all and one was very very hot even on the low setting but we made it work. The bathrooms are also dated but we were fine with them. We enjoyed the unit thoroughly.

Place was okay. Old but clean. Italian restaurant was awesome. Tiki bar was fun although they allowed smoking under the hut. Overall good experience.

This is a really nice beach location, and the condo was decent. However, the condo is older. With a minor update to furnishings and interior, it would be very nice.

The location was great-complex very old but great restaurant, tiki bar and beach. The condo had a very stale odor and was very worn. The condition of the kitchen and bathrooms were terrible. Broken cabinets, counters. Ice maker was completely frozen up. TVs weren’t working when we arrived. The property manager was very responsive and someone came to fix them, However the TV in the family room was never fixed and I never heard back from anyone. The master bed was comfortable. There was nowhere to put toiletries. A little money to update the condo , especially the kitchen and baths would make a world of difference. I do wonder why there was a fridgerator in the family room. Overall, we were very disappointed with the condition of the condo

My adult children and I enjoyed our stay. Plenty of room and we had everything we needed. Elizabeth was easy to deal with and her instructions were perfect. The resort staff was awesome as well. Definitely recommend

Great location - right on the beach and about a mile walk to Lauderdale by the Sea restaurants & bars. Easy walk to groceries too. Unit was clean and comfortable - tons of space for our group of four. Appreciated the 2 full sized fridges and 2 bathrooms. The resort could use some updating - the pool area was not great but it was fine. Coffee bar downstairs was so convenient. Spent a ton of time (and money!) at the Tiki Bar.
