We wanted a place where we could use as a base camp to go hiking and visit nearby tourist things. Bob and Mary explained everything very well. It was comfortable and had the basics. It was rustic and did the trick!

Property was very lovely, close to Nambe Badlands, a wonderful trail running, hiking, mountain biking area. We had a great time running the trails. in that area, while the hiking at Bandelier is superb. Nambe is close to Santa Fe, very easy access and it was nice to just spend a day in Santa Fe and head back to the quietness of Nambe. One note, on the cleanliness, we both stepped on goat heads in the kitchen, ouch, so just beware! I also must say the bedding was not very comfortable, the sheets were nubby and I am not fond of polyester blankets, think hotel fuzzy blanket. Next time I will just bring my own bedding and pillows. All and all a very nice place to stay.

Casa Nambe was a great place to stay. It was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed relaxing and eating out on the patio. The kitchen was ver small but had everything we needed. We would like to come back again.

We enjoyed our stay at the casita very much. The property is just as advertised. The owners were attentive and quite helpful. The kitchen/cooking facilities were very nice, and the bed and bath was clean and comfortable. The building has thick adobe walls and despite some unusually low temperatures we were snug and warm. Los Alamos and Santa Fe are close by. Both my wife and I agree; this is a place we would gladly stay at again.

The Casita ( translate: Cottage) is nestled in a private area surrounded by towering cottonwood trees, weeping willows, and a vineyard... Located just a few minutes GORGEOUS drive north from Santa Fe it is a perfect home. I am a native New Mexican, and believe me, if I could, I would move in permanently. With walls over a foot thick, the coolness of the high desert evenings can be maintained throughout the day, and will insure the coldest night is kept at bay, which was the purpose of the mud adobe bricks used for centuries to build homes by natives of the southwestern states like New Mexico. HOWEVER....a/c and heating are provided as well! The hosts are accommodating, thoughtful, responsive and kind but give you all the privacy you need. The bed has an optional feather topper and top of the line bedding, I slept better than I have in months, as if on a cloud! The Casita has plenty of plugs for electronics (laptop, cellphone and such) provides strong WiFi and pay stations via ROKU include HBO, Netflicks HULU Pandora and many more to numerous to name) As far as the rooms are concerned, the Kitchen is fully equipped, 4 burner electric stove and oven. all dishes and cutlery, and included commonly used spices, teas and coffee. I found chocolates and a complementary bottle of wine from the local vineyard upon arrival on the cozy dining table. The brick floors throughout the house have a beautiful patina and comfortable native american area rugs are throughout The bath is fully equipped with combination tub shower, and provided shampoo/conditioner and other handy products. I loved the living area, lots of room, a couch wide enough that you can nestle up on if you are a couple, or sit with your laptop and put your feet up for a comfy hour or two of researching things to do nearby. There is beautiful artwork everywhere, and traditional southwestern furniture, with throw pillows to insure you are comfortable. The vegas in the ceiling are incredibly beautiful throughout the house. In a word, the place is perfect. From the private patio, (or shared area, as there are 2 more Casitas located here) & enjoy NM Sunsets! Truthfully I will never stay in Santa Fe again, this gem is minutes away and 1/2 the price for twice the space... Come to the heart of the land of Enchantment, New Mexico... and explore the beautiful state from Casita Nambe which is conveniently centrally located! Thank you for welcoming me into your private slice of heaven, Mary and

I came for a workshop that required me to leave early and come back late. I had troubles with my car battery and Bob was such a gentleman about hooking up his charger for me at all hours. He also took time to help me with my laptop. Mary was a very thoughtful host. I would definitely enjoy staying here again.
