Stunning Stono River Guesthouse w/ Scenic Water Views & Pool

Perfect Riverfront Getaway This beautiful home on the Stono River provided the perfect, peaceful sanctuary for our trip. While the quiet riverfront feels like a secluded world of its own, we loved how effortless it was to explore downtown Charleston, West Ashley, and the surrounding islands. What truly elevated our stay was the wonderful hospitality of our hosts, whose thoughtful touches made us feel instantly at home. We can’t wait to return!

This property is absolutely beautiful and so peaceful. It's in a easy location plus it's close to the beach and downtown Charleston. It was great for our girls trip. The property was very clean and the bed was so comfortable! The host are also very sweet and helpful too. We will definitely be back!

The place is incredible. Very quiet neighborhood, beautiful views and breeze from the backyard and fabulous sunsets. Use of the pool is a good plus and it is very close to downtown Charleston. Dinos and Cherie are very gracious hosts.

This property was pristine, comfortable and peaceful. Our hosts were so welcoming and available if we needed anything extra. The grounds were magical with the large trees draped in moss and the dock to the water. We spotted a fox, cardinals, and two dolphin during our stay. A great launching pad to the city's attractions as well as a place to relax.

The guest house was clean, comfortable and provided beautiful views of the river. We will definitely return to enjoy the sunsets!

Cherie and Dinos are such wonderful, thoughtful hosts! The house was in a perfect location, with a gorgeous view of the Stono. My husband caught fish right off the dock! We really appreciated the welcome snacks and little goodbye treats for our drive home. We would certainly stay here again! Even our daughter was sad to leave. Hope to make it back when the pool is open!

Wonderful weekend getaway! Dinos and Cherie are delightful hosts and provided everything you could ask for in their lovely guesthouse. Everything was super clean, comfortable, and inviting. We sat on the dock and enjoyed a beautiful sunset. They even provided snacks - so kind and welcoming! We’d love to stay there again!

The property was stunning as advertised. Unfortunately, we only stayed two nights of our booking due to the threat of the hurricanes. We enjoyed one evening sitting by the water watching the sunset.

Highly recommend!! Property is exactly as described. Guesthouse is lovely and immaculately clean. Comfortable bed. Plenty of towels. Hosts are welcoming but not obtrusive, and property seems private. Easy to get an Uber to enjoy dinner/drinks in Charleston proper. Short drive to enjoy Folly Beach and the Old Village in Mount Pleasant. Pool is refreshing and back yard and dock area are beautiful.

The place was spotless, super cute, and had everything we needed. The pool was awesome, and the pier made it even better. Loved the thoughtful snacks left for us, and the host’s communication was quick and helpful. 10/10 — would absolutely stay again!

Beautiful property with excellent amenities. Private, secluded, wonderful backyard with perfect pool and pier/dock to the Intercoastal Waterway.

Upon arrival, everything was as expected per the hosts instructions. The accommodations were spacious, clean and beautifully decorated. Complimentary snacks were waiting for us as a welcoming gesture. Everything we needed was available without request. Hosts were gracious and honored our privacy. The pool was clean and refreshing after a long hot day either coming from the golf course or the beach. We have stayed in many VRBOs and this one was by far the best, perfectly accommodating us as a couple. If we ever return to Charleston, we will be staying here again. Beautiful, comfortable guest house in an exclusive neighborhood on the Stono River. Conveniently located 15-20 minutes from the airport, close to Folly beach and downtown Charleston. Cherie and Dinos went above and beyond to make sure we had all we needed for our one week stay.

We had a great stay! Everything was clean and as advertised. Downtown Charleston, and the beaches were easy short drives away, and we loved the ability to take an afternoon break at the pool! Communication with the owners was easy and they were eager to answer any questions. We would absolutely stay here again.

My brother and his wife stayed at this beautiful place while they visited us in Charleston. The guesthouse exceeded expectations! It was a spacious retreat that was exceptionally clean and comfortable with lots of thoughtful extras. The views are lovely and the hosts are very communicative prior to check in. This place is wonderful for those with mobility challenges. Highly recommend!!

The excellence of this space and attention to detail was incredible! I very much appreciate the thoughtfulness that was undertaken by the owners from beginning to end. Much to our surprise there was even a gift bag that had been left at our vehicle which was housed in a garage that was the perfect touch as we concluded our stay.My wife, Becky & I had a nice visit with Dinos upon our arrival and were made to feel quite at home. Our daughter had booked this location for us last year while visiting her in Georgia. What a magnificent accommodation awaited us as we unloaded our car and made our way to our living quarters. We were celebrating our 51st wedding anniversary and who could have known when we booked this VRBO almost 1 year prior that we would find such a wonderful place to stay. We neither one had been to South Carolina in our married life before April, 2025. My partner and I enjoyed the riverside getaway just outside of downtown Charleston. The property itself is in a great neighborhood, beautiful, and only about 15-20 min from anywhere you would typically to explore in Charleston. The place has everything you need for a stay whether it be the beach or just enjoying the town. Highly recommend!

This is a wonderful guest house with hosts fully committed to making their guest’s stays as comfortable as possible. A clean and gracious set of spaces, elegantly decorated sitting on beautifully landscaped grounds, we enjoyed gorgeous sunsets on a lovely balcony and very comfortable spaces and beds.

I have stayed at many vacation rentals and this was one of the best for location, as described, and the hosts. The guest house has a super beautiful and relaxing backyard and it's super cute inside. The hosts are wonderful. It was very clean. Would highly recommend and stay here again!

One of my best rental experiences ever! Cheree & Dinos met me when I arrived and thought of everything I needed. They even took the time to leave me a gift and note at the end of my stay. The view of the pool, oak trees and dock are very relaxing. I recommend walking out on the dock for a great view! I'll be back for sure.
