Stayed Jul 28, 2024There are a lot of wonderful things we can say about the property such as great location, great room, comfortable bed, wonderful area w/resort amenities, and great value. What we found especially nice is the thought that the hosts put into providing anything you could possibly need (or forgot) plus the fact that they are really nice and dedicated to seeing that their guests have a great visit to one of the most beautiful areas of NC.

Stayed Jul 11, 2024We had the best time in the cutest place in the friendliest community. They had beach chairs, beach towels, extra hangers and a closet for our clothes. They had everything we could ever ask for during our stay. It was nice to be in the hills behind the church where we got to hear the church bells ring, just peaceful and beautiful! We watched Dirty Dancing the night we arrived on the TV in the room and the bed was comfortable with clean sheets and soft pillows. The bathroom was clean and had everything we could possibly need like shampoo, conditioner, body wash, aloe for sun burns and sunscreen, they even had feminine products and a sewing kit, etc. they had a coffee bar stocked with tea and all the essentials. Very friendly couple and super private stay with views of the trees from the windows, felt like we were in a tree house! Easy to find on a private road, very safe and quiet. We will absolutely stay here next time! We enjoyed the golf course and lake and local restaurants! Just the best!

Stayed Jun 28, 20243 minute drive to the entry gate to the Rumbling Bald Resort and restaurant and bar. Clean large studio, fully stocked with all supplies and a comfortable bed.

Stayed Jun 13, 2024We were at a Lake Lure for a wedding and were so lucky to find Magnolia Place. It was the perfect location to the resort and had every amenity you could think of (down to the salt scrub by hose to get the sand off!!!)! They even provide guest passes to the resort so you can have fun at the beach or play a game of pickle ball or mini golf. The only regret we have is that we couldn’t stay longer. If this place is available, look no further. You will not be disappointed and the hosts are fabulous!!

Stayed May 24, 2024Great place to stay! Hosts were super friendly, easy to work with and very accommodating. Was especially impressed with the level of detail included as amenities (e.g. Keurig, fresh bottled water, beach towels, flip flops, beach chairs) Already figuring out when we can return!
