The host did extra welcoming amenities to make accommodations special. Very clean and quiet and beautiful views.

This cabin was perfect for my wife and I. Donna and Curtis were very helpful and friendly. Cabin was very clean, updated and had everything we needed for our stay. Amazing deck with a wonderdul view of the pond with lots of trees for privacy and a very nice, clean hottub. Short drive to Ashville and the perfect mountain getaway. 5 stars.

We had a wonderful stay! The view is beautiful and the property is quiet. Everything was clean. The location was secluded, but we were easily able to get wherever we wanted to go.

Fantastic setting nesstled in the woods and only 15 miles from downtown Asheville. Easy access to to surrounding activities like the Blue Ridge Parkway. Close to everything and far enough away to relax.

The cabin was great. Super cute, peaceful, quiet, clean and adorable interior. It was a great place to stay and made it easy to explore Asheville for a few days!

I would 100% recommend this property it is in prime location to everything! Donna was amazing introduced herself to let me know she was around if I needed her but otherwise she would leave me alone and let me have my serenity! When I come back to visit I will be staying here again! On my trip there I saw a black bear one morning when I was leaving the property I was able to see a white squirrel while traveling down the road! The cabin was so cute perfect with a hot tub and a lake view I woke up each morning I ate breakfast on the deck looking out at the pond it was perfect!!

This was such a peaceful setting!!! Quiet serenity of the country while being just a stones throw away from all the things to do in Asheville.

Cabin was clean, tidy, and cozy in a quiet and picturesque mountain setting. All of the necessary amenities were available for a weekend stay. We also enjoyed soaking in the hot tub and catching fish in the pond. We did not feel like venturing out much on this trip, but Asheville and other local towns with shops and dining were a short distance away. Hosts were very nice and made us feel welcomed but were not intrusive at all. We will certainly be back!

The place was spotless and beautifully maintained. Donna thought of every details, there was wine,and beer available for guest free of charge,along with comfortable robes that made the stay feel even more welcoming. The atmosphere was quiet, refreshing,and exactly what we hope for when you eacape to the mountains.I would absolutely stay here again.

Overall it was a very nice weekend. The host was accessible, the cabin was clean, and the welcome goodies and note were so sweet. The hot tub could have used a good clean and the bed was firmer than we're used to, but my favorite spot was on the back porch. Even with it being cold, we spent a majority of our time outside because it was so peaceful.

The host was extremely welcoming. They left us a welcome basket, a folder full of information about what to do, see, and where to eat. The host was also very easy to contact if we needed anything. It was a very cozy experience for us and we would love to stay there again if we find ourselves in Asheville in the future.

Accommodations were great! The notes and holiday decorations were a nice touch. Lovely cabin with a great hot tub and fire pit. The walking trail was very nice for a residential property!

Wonderful peaceful location, perfect little getaway cabin with a wonderful view. The hot tub was excellent and everything was very clean. Only recommendation would be a curtain or something on the back side of the deck where the back neighbor overlooks the hot tub/deck. Otherwise very private. Would love to come back!

This was a gorgeous mountainside escape and exactly what we were hoping for. The views were absolutely stunning, and the cabin was spotless, well-stocked, and thoughtfully appointed. The bed was incredibly comfortable—perfect after long days of exploring.The host was delightful and welcoming. We were especially touched by the handwritten welcome note and the lovely snack basket, which made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived.The hot tub was wonderful, and the cabin is the perfect size for two—cozy without feeling cramped. One of our favorite moments was sitting on the screened porch, overlooking the pond. The view was truly breathtaking and so peaceful.We cannot wait to return in the fall. This place is a gem.

We enjoyed the location, front porch, and hot tub. Our hosts were great. The kitchen was a small but we made it work. Would definitely stay here again.

The hosts were awesome!!! They had the cabin stocked with everything you could think of, from spices in the kitchen to cotton balls in the bathroom. We had a personalized welcome sign and a handwritten note with snacks. Not to mention extra pillows, blankets and clothes hangers, this was the first cabin we've ever stayed in that had hangers, might be the small things but thats what made everything perfect!!! Also have to mention the three ring binder which was filled with all the local restaurants and main attractions in the area. Hands down these hosts are doing it right!!! Thank you Donna and Curtis!!!

We had a very relaxing stay at the cabin. It felt secluded yet we were close to all of our activities. The weather changed drastically overnight with a low of 17 and snow showers. We did use the hot tub the last night and thoroughly enjoyed it. The welcome basket of snacks and the message board were nice touches. We would love to visit again!

This was a great setup for a getaway! There was everything you needed for a quiet retreat to stay in or plenty to drive around and see. Beautiful property and a great area. Definitely want to go again!

This sweet, cozy cabin is perfect for couples, and the owners thought of everything. The queen bed is super comfy, and the generously-sized shower was perfect. The kitchen has a full size oven, gas grill and all the small appliances you'd need. The view across the pond, with green pastures and adjacent mountains is very idyllic and relaxing. Donna was a wonderful host, very attentive and responsive to any question we had. As former Vrbo hosts ourselves, we understand how important communication is, and we were very pleased with our stay!! Thanks for everything, Donna!!

Truly one of the nicest places we have stayed! Perfect for a couple wanting a lovely relaxing holiday. We rode mountain bikes daily at nearby Bent Creek. Enjoyed wonderful microbrews in Asheville and relaxed daily in the hot tub. Our hosts were so thoughtful and made the stay so nice. The cabin is clean, private and well situated. The view from the porch is worth the stay! A place we hope to visit again.

The home was perfect for a weekend getaway! Loved the property being near the lake and some cute horses. We had a beautiful hike nearby too. The hot tub was relaxing and downtown Asheville was a close drive from the property. Donna was a wonderful, welcoming host!

Beautiful country setting, owner wrote sweet note and welcome sign and had little touches like, teas, local beers, and fresh flowers. Would have been better if we had arrived during the day, hard to see and steep dropoff hard for large extended handicap van to turn around, but was fine in the morning. Only caught one bluegill, maybe next time earlier in the year.

Had a great time. Was able to enjoy a little fishing.

Donna was very nice and attentive to any needs or requests we had. The area/cabin was absolutely Beautiful and very quiet. It was a perfect spot for my wife and my anniversary vacation. Highly recommend and I'm already looking forward to staying there again in the future.

Great experience, AGAIN! Our second visit to this property and it will not be the last. Yeah, the size and activity of fish we caught wasn’t as exciting as our first visit June of ‘24 but still good. Had a duck hop up in the bank behind the cabin. 4 deer were seen playing in the shallow end of the lake. Even had a Black Bear visit this time. Seemed to like the smell from grilling steaks the night before. Donna and Curtis are very hospitable, responsive and relatable. Definitely recommend!

We cannot say enough great things about this property or the owners or the experience we had. We felt at home. It was beyond relaxing. They take pride in their property and making their guests feel comfortable. We had everything we needed and we will definitely be back! We highly suggest if you need a place to unwind, reset and recharge, this is the place.

We visited for our anniversary and had an amazing time. We absolutely loved staying at this cabin. The owners were so kind and welcoming. We really enjoyed the hot tub and fishing. We also went tubing on the river less than 15 minutes away. I also thought the little fireplace area was absolutely beautiful.

Cozy cabin with a spectacular view overlooking a private lake and rural countryside. My husband and I fished in the lake, hiked on their property and relaxed in the hot tub. Donna and Curtis were amazing hosts! They offered great suggestions for fun things to do in the area. We couldn't have asked for a more awesome, romantic getaway! We will definitely be back!

Beautiful property in the mountains. This cozy cabin is perfect for 2 people who want to relax. The hot tub was definitely a plus. We enjoyed fishing and caught several while here. We will definitely consider returning to this quiet spot.

Sitting on the screened porch at night listening to the frogs was super relaxing. Hot tub was GREAT!

Donna's cabin was perfect for us. The deck looking out over the pond was great for sitting outside in the mornings with a cup a coffee. It was close to my family and convenient to Asheville and the surrounding area. We totally enjoyed our stay there.

Donna’s cabin sits on a stunningly beautiful property. To reach the house you drive past a lovely horse farm with mountains all around. The cabin is cozy with everything you need including a hot tub and screen porch that overlooks a tranquil lake. The inside is well appointed and very clean. The bed was very comfortable with extra pillows and blankets. If you’re looking for a magical forest getaway this ticks all the boxes.

This cabin and stay was perfect for our 10 year wedding anniversary! Weather was nice and cold, hosts were superb and views were amazing! 10/10 recommend!!

Donna's property is a true gem tucked away for ultimate relaxation. We loved that while staying at the cabin, we really felt like we could unplug and be in nature. Even more, we loved that the cabin was at a perfect driving distance from anything you wanted to do in town, so you could have the best of both worlds. Couldn't have asked for a better spot for a few days in the Asheville area. Loved eating out on the porch and then enjoying our downtime in the hot tub. Sierra Nevada Brewery is a short drive and its beautiful, but we decided to go straight back to our private spot and enjoy the peace there instead! Loved the personal touches when we arrived and the owner is readily available if needed. Can't wait to go back!

My partner and I spent our three year anniversary here! It’s was an absolutely amazing stay! Downtown Asheville is so close, there’s so many trails, and good food/drink! The home was very cozy and comfortable, the host was extremely kind! We cannot wait to come back! 15/10 honestly!

The screened porch overlooking the pond was incredibly relaxing, and the hot tub allowed us to enjoy the outdoors even when it was a bit chilly outside. The kitchen is fully stocked, making it easy to prepare meals on-site; all you need to do is bring your own food. Donna and Curtis are great hosts. We will definitely be back.

Cozy little cabin home secluded but close enough to society. This property met all expectations. I decided to suprise my girlfriend with a weekend at this lovely home for her 30th birthday and we could not have asked for more. The owner was very nice and helpful for anything that we needed during our stay. Beautiful views, comfy bed, gorgeous bathroom, perfectly placed firepit for the cold nights, and I cant forget the wonderful hottub. This was the best romantic mtn getaway for us. Thank you for having us.

Donna is a great host with a great cabin, perfect for a weekend getaway! The cabin was as advertised, and Donna even took the time to leave us a personal note upon arrival. The fridge even included a few beers from local breweries. She is also quickly available via text if questions arise. I highly recommend!

Very cute cabin up and out of town. Very private. Cabin filled with everything you need. But the owners are beyond special. While we were there, tropical storm Helene came through. We decided to leave a few days early because of the threat of the storm not allowing us to get back to Minnesota. Nobody could’ve known how bad it was going to be. Regardless, we were reimbursed for the days we did not stay. We did not expect reimbursement, and didn’t ask for it. We understood that this was a one in a thousand year storm. We pray for their property and well being In the midst of utter destruction everywhere around them. I hope many in the future will consider staying here, as they certainly have earned it through the care of their property, excellent communication, and doing everything the right way. Many blessings to Curtis and Donna.

This was a first trip to NC. This cabin was located in a beautiful area so close to Asheville. We loved the beauty and peacefulness about this location. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the screened in porch, enjoying coffee. The hot tub was such a wonderful addition. This cozy cabin was very clean and we appreciated the attention to detail and thoughtful little touches that Donna had left for us! We'd highly recommend this cabin to anyone!
