Remodeled Guesthouse with separate Riverfront Patio and dock+river access

Carol and her husband were so wonderful and available if we needed anything! We walked into fresh, clean smelling accommodations and the home had everything you could need and more!

Beautiful location with all the best that nature offers. Great ADU with fluffy towels and delicious coffee and comfortable beds.

The space was very nice, clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We especially appreciated that it was dog-friendly, which allowed us to bring our fur babies along—such a huge plus for us.Carol was incredibly friendly and always willing to help with anything we needed. She was a great communicator and responded very quickly, which made the entire experience smooth and stress-free. We would definitely stay here again!

Ceramic plates chipped (cut my finger on this), host instruction signs everywhere (obstructing views out windows, over toilet, etc.), hard/lumpy sofa, burned out lightbulb on deck, broken lock on bedroom window.

We have stayed at this property for a week each summer when we visit family. It continues to be a beautiful and very comfortable place to stay, and the location in a quiet neighborhood close to the river is great.

The ABSOLUTE BEST VRBO experience we've ever had! The house was clean and neat, exactly as pictured. The patio was idyllic! The stunning view was a vacation itself! Carol was the most attentive and responsive host we've ever interacted with and the personal and thoughtfil touches, including snacks, coffee, extra towels, and use of extras was above and beyond. Overall, we felt deeply cared for and enjoyed our stay tremendously. If we could give 10 stars, we would! We'll definitely be back.

We had such a wonderful experience staying at the guest house in Milwaukie. Carol was wonderful and very accommodating. The location was awesome and having the opportunity to watch fireworks next to the river was breathtaking. Thank you Carol!

Extremely accommodating with our crazy wedding weekend schedule - a quiet and relaxing home. Perfect size for four adults. Wonderful area if you love to walk. I would highly recommend to anyone wanting a quiet getaway while still being close to the city.

This fabulous guest house exceeded our expectations for condition and location! The property and the host both deserve 10 stars plus! Carol is excellent at communication, the guest house is perfectly appointed with all of the amenities you would need. We loved the cool breezes from the river during the heat wave! And enjoyed serene walks amongst the towering pines. So quiet and peaceful, yet close to the city. Definitely returning!

Immaculate condition and really new. All conveniences were very well provided. It is a guest house, not an entire house, to be noted. We missed that. Still have the privacy we need and not an issue for us. Would come back again.

This cute space was great for our siblings reunion/sleepover. The host was an excellent communicator and there were clear instructions and recommendations left inside for us. The coffee was very much appreciated! We could see ourselves coming back here.

This home is a short walk from the Willamette River. It is very clean, comfortable and well stocked with extra bedding, coffee, creamer, spices and cooking equipment. I would love to return sometime.

For some reason I thought the listing showed being very close to Lake Oswego. It is not!! If you aren’t familiar, you would not realize that there aren’t any bridges to get you to that area anywhere nearby. Signed us up for a 30 minute commute. The place is cute though and served our purposes otherwise.

We had a wonderful time at guesthouse. It is in a very quiet, special neighborhood surrounded by beautiful homes and right on the water. The house has everything you could need and the hosts were very responsive and hospitable. Can’t go wrong with this place.

Overall this little guest cottage was perfect for our stay. It was clean and comfortable. The hosts are super nice. We had a great stay.

The add appears misleading as it leads you to believe the patio with the view is your patio. It is not you can use it. But it is not your patio the listing is behind the house that sits on the river. The patio is not covered. You can not see the river from the place you are renting. Also it appears the living room floor is about to give way near the entrance. I only say these things because had I known the rental had no view of the river from the rented property I would not have rented it. People should know what they are paying for and not be misled. However the accommodations in the unit were very nice. Stocked with coffee and snacks which was nice. Nice to have plenty of towels a slower supplies. With a clothes washer and dryer to boot overall I would say a 4 out of 5

This 2 bedroom open concept home is in a wonderful quiet location with a large open space to take our pets out. Would completely stay here again!!

I found this property for myself & my senior parents to stay at while we were visiting for a family wedding. The house was perfect for our needs, which included me prepping and decorating 5 wedding cakes for the wedding! Having a full kitchen & washer & dryer in the house made things so much easier & more comfortable. The bedrooms were tidy & the beds were very comfortable, with plenty of extra bedding, pillows, and towels for the bathroom. I'm keeping this listing in my favorites for future visits.

This was a lovely property and we had a great time. It was so clean and had everything we could possibly need for our stay. The host was so helpful and communicative. We loved sitting out on the patio and watching the river and we had almost perfect weather for our stay!

This is the 4th or 5th stay in Carol’s vacation rental for my husband and I. We love to stay here when we come to the Portland area. The neighborhood is quiet, the accommodations very comfortable and clean, and the host is very kind and helpful. We’ll be back next summer!
