Our 1 bedroom unit is located in a historic complex built in the 1880's to house railroad workers. The building complex sits on 6 acres of land along a hillside. Plenty of trees and grassy areas to enjoy as well as a short walking trail down to the Connecticut River.
The unit is located on the first floor with a wrap around porch along the side. We have updated to the unit with modern amenities and stocked it for your comfort.
A large cozy sectional in the living room gives you plenty of space to relax and watch some TV. Small dining room for 4 and kitchen with oven, microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, toaster oven and fully stocked with dishware and bakeware.
The bedroom features a full size corner bed with memory foam mattress. Additional twin cot can be rolled out for extra guest.

This place is very comfortable and have mostly all the amenities required for small family on vacation.Kitchen has mostly everything needed to prepare food. Place was very clean and have full kitchen,TV, internet, one queen bed, sofa and car parking space ,heating ,hot water is available .
Quiet and clean location. Clean house, big kitchen, everything you could need is already there! We had a great stay.
We were there from Michigan for 4 days. Allison was very helpful and made check in easy. The apt was small and cozy. It is a very old building so floors slant a little and no storage for unpacking anywhere. No counter space in bathroom. Kitchen was well stocked with what you need. Cute place!
This is a great place to stay. Wonderful area with a lot to do and see . We would recomend this to anybody.
Just what you'd want in a budget friendly place to come home to after a day of sightseeing in Vermont and New Hampshire. Clean, modestly appointed and the host and onsite manager were extremely accessible and helpful.
My only problem was the lack of lamps. I had to go purchase a floor lamb to put next to the bed so I could read. Otherwise, all was good.
Great place just need thicker toilet paper.
had a great time and the view were awesome
House section was clean and fairly well equipped. There were a few minor maintenance problems, and more lighting was needed. Staff was friendly and helpful. Cool old house. Frig leaks and doors need work. Good overall experience. Can recommend to others.
We enjoyed the place. Perfectly adequate size for 2 people. Nice wrap-around porch. Very clean. Kitchen is well suited for preparing your own meals. Helpful property manager on sight. The Connecticut River runs nearby for all sorts of swimming and paddling adventures! We did a 10 mile kayak trip from Wells River to Newburyport.
I lived in the area for over 8 years growing up and never knew this place even existed. The location is great, right in between Woodsville and Wells River with easy access to I-91 (about 5 minutes up the road). This is also a short drive to North Haverhill, Haverhill, Piermont, Bath, Pike, and Lisbon on the New Hampshire side and Bradford, Newbury, Corinth, Ryegate, and Fairlee on the Vermont side. This house has a couple different options to accommodate different needs. They have studio, 1 bedroom, and 2 bedroom apartments available. The apartment we stayed in was the 1 bedroom and it was very nice. Comfortable bed and cot, sectional in the living room area, smart TV for streaming services, nice fully equipped kitchen with full size appliances, and free WiFi. We stayed for 5 days and it was so much better than a hotel (not to mention cheaper). The covered porch and large yard provide a nice area for relaxing or entertaining. There is also access to the river just down the road, just a short hike or take the car down and park in the pull off. I would highly recommend this for individuals, couples, and families looking for a nice, affordable place to stay. You won't find a better option for the money. We'll definitely be back!
Wonderful location, nestled in a multi-unit building on the NH/VT border, with trails to the water accessible by foot. Very clean. Amazing porch with Adirondack chairs. We loved discovering this town, and it’s nearby trails, bridges and swimming holes.
