Puget Sound/Mtn Sunrise View - NO CLEANING FEE- *PLEASE READ FULL DESCRIPTION *

This was our second visit to this VRBO, and it was just as wonderful as our first. The unit is very comfortable and well equipped for one's stay. The views are spectacular and the property is very quiet, with only the sound of birds.

Quiet and serene, beautiful view, and reasonably priced especially for short stays. Excellent attention to detail on the small, but meaningful things, like having an electric blanket for watching hummingbirds on the deck, providing real half-n-half with a Nespresso frother, snacks, plenty to do inside and beyond.

Wake up early for a gorgeous sunrise , Mark&Mary are amazing hosts very accommodating and friendly, the guest house is very clean private and beautiful we slept so good and the house has everything you need. We cant wait to stay again

Our stay was wonderful! The property was amazing with a great view. We enjoyed having meals on the deck. Our hosts were gracious and generous with supplies to make our stay even more comfortable!

What a beautiful property, pictures alone can not do this justice! While the view was spectacular, the property and interior was special as well. The attention to detail was apparent in every corner. Our long weekend stay at First Light was wonderful in every way! Mary and her husband were delightful in welcoming us, orienting us to the property, and making us feel right at home. The guest house was newly remodeled, very comfortable, and was well appointed with everything we needed including a few essentials and goodies in the kitchen. There were thoughtful touches throughout. Oh, and did I mention the view! The water and mountain view from the deck is breathtaking, and the property is extremely private and quiet. We will be returning for sure!

The hosts, Mark and Mary, are delightful! They had excellent food and activity suggestions and made us feel right at home. The view doesn't get better then this place! I could've spent my entire time there, just sitting on the deck and sipping a drink and been very happy.

Our stay was absolutely beautiful and the hosts were amazing! It was the perfect place to take a quite moment and celebrate our 3rd wedding anniversary.

Everything we needed for a two night, three days of R & R. Very clean, a charming host who lived on the property and was very helpful, beautiful view, and came with three deer that visited us every day. Very enjoyable.

Simply put, this is the best little place I've ever stayed in South Whidbey. Mary is a wonderful host. My daughter and i had a fantastic and relaxing stay. We'll definitely be back.

The host was amazing and very welcoming. It’s the first time that we have ever interacted with the owners of the property and made us feel welcome. First Light is an adorable place to stay, the view was amazing and even were visited by the local deer. This property was very clean, nicely decorated. The kitchen had everything a good selection of utensils, pans & dishes for our stay. The bedroom upstairs was comfortable and nicely decorated as well. There is also a nice neighborhood trail to go for a walk. We wiil definitely stay here again.

We had a lovely stay at First Light . The hosts were very welcoming and eager to make our stay comfortable. The location couldn't have been better with an amazing view of the Sound and a great deck to sit out and enjoy the sights.

We have traveled to many vrbo's in and out of the country, and this is one of the most outstanding ones we have ever visited. The lodging, the view, the location, but most of all, the amazing hosts. We would come back in a Flash!

This property is always a delight, but it's the hosts who truly elevate the experience. They’re incredibly thoughtful—stocking the fridge with essentials like coffee, tea, half-and-half, butter, and more to make our stay effortless. The peaceful surroundings are a perfect retreat, and we were lucky enough to be greeted by a family of deer each morning. Truly a special place with exceptional hosts

As usual (we stayed here last year) our 10-day stay was glorious. What a view! Perfect location. And the family operating the property are the most lovely people. We know where to stay the 3rd time we visit Whidbey.

Calm, peaceful and what a great view!

The unit is cozy and comfortable, well equipped, and offers great views of the water. Steps go up to bedrooms on the upper floor. Mary and her husband are readily available for any needs that might arise.

We stayed a week in this perfect little cabin overlooking the ocean - and it couldn’t have been more lovely. Mary was a lovely host and walked us through some pointers when we checked in. After that, she was very responsive to our questions (minutes), but honored our privacy, which we appreciated. The cabin was the cleanest home we’ve ever rented - spotless! - and had so many thoughtful touches that we couldn’t possibly list all of them. The beds were extremely comfortable, the TV entertainment was easy to access, and the outdoor space and deck were outstanding! We spent hours just soaking up the view, sunshine and cool breezes. We were also thoroughly entertained by the local hummingbirds and deer that came to enjoy the beautiful flowers and garden. The location was super convenient to town and to several local wineries. This was a perfect retreat and we hope to visit again!

This was the second time here for us and we absolutely love it. The property is spectacular, and the accommodations are outstanding as well. The view from the deck is so beautiful, it was sometimes hard to leave to go explore the quaint towns in the near by vicinity. We will definitely go back for a third time and more.

I so highly recommend your staying here! I've vacationed here four times, and every time we start to plan our next trip even before we leave. It has everything you need, including a beautiful deck with gorgeous views. Its proximity to Langley is icing on the cake. This time we took the ferry over to Port Townsend for the day - so fun!

We had such a lovely stay. Mary and Mark were incredibly gracious hosts and we felt so fortunate that they shared their beautiful property with us. The pictures did not do justice to the serenity of being in their cabin-like home. It was clean, homey, and had everything you could need. The surrounding area was perfect for taking walks - or drive into nearby Langley for delicious food and drinks. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a quiet and peaceful holiday.

This was our third time staying here. Mary and Mark are wonderful hosts and they have made their place such a relaxing place to enjoy Langley and Whidbey Island. We enjoyed the comfy bed, plentiful blankets, and coffee in the morning while sitting out on the porch enjoying the beautiful view of the water and mountains in the distance. It was definitely a great place to unwind.

A clean, comfortable guesthouse with all the amenities, including a large deck with an amazing view! Very peaceful place! Hosts are very attentive to your comfort and experience! Short drive to Langley. Highly recommended!

Mary and Mark were amazing hosts. They provided us with so many great tips on the local area and were so kind. The property itself was lovely with every possible amenity and comfortable beds. They even provided coffee! The views from the property are unparalleled, and we loved sitting on the deck watching the water. We are definitely planning to come back for a longer stay.

A beautiful location, cannot be beaten with the view of the ocean and bay outside on the green space where deer come frequently, lists if hummingbirds. Your own private sanctuary if you will, a deck with privacy, plenty of seating for meals and relaxing. off the quiet road where there is a trail to the beach( can be a little challenging for some). The private accommodations are well stocked, comfortable, clean, modern, well ventilation with windows that are easily opened as needed. The host was very accommodating with information for the local area including a hiking guide which greatly appreciated.

This was a wonderful property for a weekend getaway from Seattle. It has an amazing view, is very clean and has an extremely comfortable king bed. There's a second bedroom with two more beds for kids that we didn't use. Although the property is attached to the host's main home, the unit is very private. I would book again!
