Enjoy real western history and heritage when you stay on a 110 year-old 35,000 acre working cattle ranch. The Guest House is an extension of the owners' historic 1920's stone ranch home, and sleeps a total of 6 (1 queen bedroom, 1 twin bedroom, queen size sleeper couch) with 2 bathrooms and a kitchen with full-size appliances. A large private patio includes a gazebo with picnic table, grill, misters and fire pit, perfect for star gazing in dark skies unpolluted by any city lights. We are NOT able to accommodate pets outside, and pets are not allowed in the Guest House. Children must be 5 or older. Fishing, hiking and swimming about 3 miles away in Beaver Creek and West Clear Creek in the summer. (See notes under photos) In the winter, skiing and snowplay at Snowbowl in Flagstaff about 1.5 hours away. The Grand Canyon is about 2 hours away. During this time of the covid, we allow one extra day between guest stays and clean with a Professional Disifectant Fogger which provides the same electrostatic disinfecting as is used in local schools.
This property is even better than described. If you are looking for a relaxing place to unwind, this is it. A charming guesthouse on a rural property surrounded by mountain views. Check in & check out process is easy and owners are available on site if needed. The guesthouse was very clean and welcoming. Beds are comfortable, A/C works excellent and they have nice little touches around the house to make it feel like a home. We will stay here again for sure.
Husband, two teens and I stayed here for the week while we took day trips hiking and site seeing. Great place to relax after a long day at the Grand Canyon or hiking in Sedona. The hosts are super friendly and accommodating if you need anything. Sunrise views with cows, deer, and rabbits are calm and perfect for getting the day started. The guesthouse is very nice. Very clean and perfect for our family of 4. Would definitely stay here again.
We had a great stay. The guesthouse is on a working cattle ranch, and there may be cattle wandering around the property as you drive in. The house has 2 bedroons and a sofa-bed, and all of the beds were comfortable. The sofa-bed has a newer mattress. The property manager greeted us on arrival and check in/checkout was easy. We didn't have to do any extra cleaning on checkout. There's a corral with the owner's horses and we had fun feeding them grass. There's a BBQ and firepit area outside too. It was cold when we were there and we didn't use them. Just a note that they don’t have an oven but the microwave has a baking feature and it can be used instead. They also have a Keurig with k cups and a drip coffee maker. We had fun, and I'd like to come back in the summer.
We loved this Ranch experience! We explored the Ranch, watched the stars, and cooked on the grill/campfire during our stay. The dirt road leading up to the guest house is rough, but easily passible with an SUV. All amenities worked perfectly, and the host was very responsive. I would recommend the local Coconino trails, such as The Bell Trail to The Crack, which is 4 miles up 618 from the guest house. Also, the wine walk in Jerome and Sedona city are nearby! We would definitely stay here again!
My husband and I stayed here for a week as a home base for our hiking and exploring. This rental is such a peaceful location and the night sky was truly a delight. I highly recommend if you want a unique experience come stay at the M Diamond Ranch.
Our stay was very pleasant. We enjoyed being secluded and staying at the ranch. The manager was very nice and helpful and took the time to explain the history of the ranch to me. My girls loved seeing and petting the horses down the driveway!
Three sisters, 53-60, met for our yearly vacation. This location was close enough to visit the main attraction, Jerome, Sedona, Grand Canyon, Antelope Canyon (spent one night away in Page) but was far enough away from town to enjoy the stars, fire in the pit, peaceful and quite. We loved walking on the ranch with our morning coffee and having our alone time.
We truly enjoyed the quiet surroundings and cozy guests house. We plan to stay here again on our next trip through the area.
The property was beautiful and quiet. . We could star gaze, hike, and my daughter loved visiting the horses at the end of the road. It was a quick drive out to Sedona each day to hike. Everything was perfect
The stars at night are amazing. The place was perfect and so quiet. Closeness to Sedona but far enough away to relax. Definitely recommend! This is the place to relax!!
great time star gazing and morning walks with my 5 year toddler
The guesthouse was extremely clean, beautiful and perfect for our family. My kids enjoyed running around the property. It's a short drive to Sedona, and way less crowded. It's perfect if you're looking for a peace and tranquility.
Our stay at the guest house was simply amazing. Checkin was completely seamless, the location was away from the bustle of Sedona traffic, which we loved, and there were so many spots to visit a short drive from the house. The space was clean, welcoming, and had everything we needed. Each afternoon we had a chance to take a dip or a splash in a nearby watering hole. We visited the Montezuma Well just up the road, and we took a day trip to the Grand Canyon in addition to visiting the Sedona area for hiking. This place has it all- including the most amazing view of the night sky I have ever seen. I highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.
My husband and I had a great experience staying at the ranch. Their home and property are stunningly beautiful. I would highly recommend :)
