Stayed Aug 16, 2025If you like quiet and serene this is the place. Plenty of space for the two of us. Clean and comfortable. Wonderful views both day and night. The milky way was visible from the location. We traveled to Mesa Verde, Durango, Silverton, Ouray, Telluride, and Moab from this location. This was our first time in this area of the US so we tried to take in all we could. If you like having shopping and restaurants within a short drive this is not the location for you. For us, we enjoy the remoteness and cooked our breakfast every morning. In Mancos there is a brewery that we were not able to try but we did get a good pizza from the local pizza place and highly recommend Moon Dog Cafe. They have one of the best key lime pies. Just check the hours. Places tend to close early. Highly recommend this rental and location.

Stayed Jun 28, 2025Extremely close to the entrance of Mesa Verde National Park, and nestled between the towns of Cortez and Mancos. The guest house was perfectly clean, and the layout was adorable. Would highly suggest anyone to stay here. An extra high-point for us, was the fact that it was also pet-friendly.

Stayed Jun 11, 2025The rental is clean and comfortable. It worked perfectly for our overnight stay. It's very close to the Mesa Verde NP and a great starting point for our trip to Four Corners the following morning. I didn't check my email or app before I left home on check in day so I missed Erin's instructions to check the site for the correct directions. Thankfully, she saw us driving to the neighbors and driving aimlessly and contacted me. Don't rely on Google for directions.I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this rental. Erin is very easy to work with, hospitable, and easy to talk to.

Stayed May 8, 2025We really enjoyed our stay here, this is a perfectly suited location to explore Mesa Verde. The property is clean, newer, and in a beautiful area. And it is dog friendly! It would be great to stay for a longer time. The only reason I don’t give it all five stars is that it seemed that a kitchen inventory was overdue. It was missing some of the basics like salt and pepper, a set of wine glasses, and the cupboards were haphazard. Lots of some things, none of others. Also the 2 person table was wobbly and there could be something nicer there like a small gate leg table that could be folded out when needed. Bed was super comfy, and we were glad we picked it.

Stayed Jul 16, 20241st, my wife and I give the owners 5 stars for cleanliness, communication and the property is AS ADVERTIZED! When we had questions, we were answered promptly and completely. The place was clean and feels new. This is a fully functional efficiency apartment that was perfect for me, my wife and our dogs, as advertised. Next, I give the property 5 stars for functionality and location. Everything in the house that we needed worked... A/C, stove, coffee maker, etc. The property is in a nice rural residential neighborhood with some beautiful views. About 5 minutes to the entrance of Mesa Verde N.P. About 5 minutes east is Mancos...we loved the sandwiches at Zuma grocery. And my wife LOVED her chai latte from Fahrenheit Roasters in downtown Mancos. 10 minutes west is Cortez which has everything you'll need...gas, grocery, restaurants, laundromat, Super Walmart etc. Durango is about 35 minutes east and has even more restaurants, grocery, etc. Less than 20 minutes to Mancos S.P. We recommend both the pizza and beer from Mancos Brewery. So, 5 stars overall and we highly recommend. Thanks to Mike and Erin for providing a perfect stay for this vacation.
