Magical spot in the middle of native bush. The bird life was amazing. I would highly recommend.

We enjoyed a wonderful experience here, amongst native bird calls and lush bush. Tuis at your kitchen window to drink from the water trough, giant tree ferns out the bathroom window. Lovely friendly hosts, well stocked kitchen & fridge. Could not have asked for more.

A lovely and quiet location surrounded by bush with amazing birdlife. It was amazing when about 20 kereru flew over in one go! Great communication with Maria, who also greeted us when we arrived down the magical driveway. The accommodation and facilities were very comfortable and clean. The pantry and fridge were stocked with breakfast items. Really enjoyed our stay - thanks!

This was an excellent 2 night stay. It was an amazing location, right next to a reserve. We love the bush and native birds so it was perfect for us. The bach was very fully equipped and provisioned, including eggs and bacon in the fridge! We met our hosts on a couple of occasions and they were very welcoming and informative. We had our local relatives up for coffee and they were equally impressed, and will spread the word...we will be back!

This is a special place. Clean, quiet and in such a beautiful location. Maria was helpful and the perfect host. Im sorry that we didnt stay longer, but we will be back.

Nice property just what we needed and all went well

Very quiet and private location surrounded by bush with amazing birdlife. Really prompt and accurate communication with our hosts, check-in very easy. Unit and facilities superbly comfortable, clean and well appointed. Far more provided by host (books, magazines, food etc) than we had expected. Next level to anything we have experienced to date.

This lovely little unit was absolutely perfect for a quick getaway for my brother and I. Located in a quiet spot at the end of an enchanting driveway peace and serenity abound. Everything was clean and tidy but not bare. The kitchen was well equipped and held a few extras which meant we didn’t have to make any mad dashes to the supermarket for forgotten items. The bed and futon were comfortable. The outdoor area was amazing. Highly recommend.

From the moment you arrive at their secluded place you are greated with bird song, trees and a very warm welcome. Maria has gone to the effort of putting up a welcome sign with our names on and as you walk inside you are greated with flowers and many more treats.The place is immaculate. Would love to come back soon.

We enjoyed a really peaceful , relaxing couple of days here celebrating our 54 th wedding anniversary.Such a tranquil place . Beautifully appointed with everything you need . Spotlessly clean & loads of wee extras - we appreciated the juice , chocolates, bacon , eggs & fresh fruit particularly.Thank you ..

Lovely place to have done rest and relaxation. Comfy with lots of bird song and trees…was certainly an opportunity to chill out. Nice tidy unit. Welcoming host and bonus of fruit and breakfast.

What a stunner! The photos on the listing don’t do the place justice, the abundance of bird life is remarkable and there’s a 99.9% chance you won’t want to leave😅.
