Stayed Aug 30, 2025Absolutely love this place! It is nice and secluded and quiet. You can tell the owners have put a lot of thought into the house. It is very well decorated, super clean, and has a rustic charm to it. It had everything we needed. This was actually our second time staying here and we loved it so much. Perfect place for a couple to spend a quiet kid-free weekend!

Stayed Oct 8, 2024The cabin was just as pictured/described. It was a good size for 2, with a very comfortable bed. The road is unpaved for the last 2 miles, so it is dusty. But that remoteness also means there is very little traffic. The location is near a great fly fishing stream. And we heard an owl. Nature lovers' delight.

Stayed May 18, 2024We loved our little getaway to the Carriage House!! We were in the area because my wife graduated with her midwifery degree from Southwest Tech in nearby Fennimore. The carriage house was close enough and yet felt like a million miles away from the hustle and bustle. We were able to relax and enjoy our time together being cozy!!
