Romantic Dalmatian stone house with wonderful sea and mainland view, restored from its long sleep with attention to detail. Our house is in the middle of Preko, only a few yards from the new marina. Cosy pubs, small supermarkets, baker and butcher are reachable on foot. There’s a ferry to Zadar once an hour and you can get to the ferry in 10 min. on foot. Because the airport is a few kilometres from Zadar you will definitely need a car.

Stayed Aug 13, 2024We loved our stay here at ‘refuge’ it has everything you need and more - communication with the owners was so helpful and kind The walk up the hill is a workout but those views are your reward - thank you again and we will be back !

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We stayed in this house in the end of June 2010 for 8 days. The property was as advertised and more...it is located on the slope with an easy access from the parking area. Short walking distance to city center and public beach. The house itself is an amazing several-centuries-old structure, newly renovated and perfect for two families with kids. Upon arrival it was very clean, with all appliances in working order. There are two ACs on upper levels (lower level doesn't need one), both more than adequate for summer stay. The terrace sports beautiful views of Zadar. The weather was also very favorable, i think it maybe rained ones. As to infrastructure, it is 25-minute ferry ride to Zadar, and not too long of a drive to Split, Trogir and Sibenik. There are also boat trips to neighboring islands and lots of great walking trails on the Uglian island itself. Thanks for an amazing stay! This place is highly recommended.
