The Deluxe Seaview Suite is part of the Madsen Retreat Guest House. It is an officially accredited 4 star quality room and only released to the market in December 2018 following our refurbishment and upgrade work. Stayed Jul 9, 2022The suite was lovely and so comfy and the view out over Bass Strait was wonderful. The room caught the sun and was lovely and warm, even though it was the middle of winter. Our hosts couldn't have been more helpful.

Stayed Jan 2, 2020The room was great brand new and spotlessly clean great location and everything was provided the only thing I did not realise is that it was inside Chris’s house so more like a B&B situation but maybe I overlooked that when booking.

Stayed Dec 25, 2019The accommodation was exactly as described. Close to all that Penguin has to offer, but just behind the hustle & bustle. Chris gives a great intro to the township and the rooms are meticulously presented. The beds & pillows were so good I struggled to get out of bed!!!
