Linda met me at the curb when I pulled in, then she showed me into the place and made sure I was all set before leaving. She was unobtrusive throughout my stay, but when I started my car to leave, she came out and bid me farewell.

We were so happy to find this gem in Jacksonville. Great hosts that shared their stories with us and were very accommodating. The place was perfect for a night to go to the Britt and we will defenetly be back to spend more time.

It was like home, well stocked with everything, and super friendly hosts.

Charleen’s Cottage Offered everything we needed for our stay we were very surprised by all the amenities. I would suggest some new bed pillows though as they were a little flat. And a little too much furniture as my husband kept bumping into the chest at the end of the bed.

It was a great place to stay and be able to walk to the Britt Festival concert. Very friendly hosts.

This was our 4th stay at Charleen's Cottage, and we will definitely be back! Cozy, clean and so convenient. Everything you could possibly need for a comfortable vacation- full kitchen, lovely bedroom and sitting room, bathroom and even a laundry room. Perfect for 1 or 2 guests.

This little cottage was perfect. Parked right outside the front door. The host greeted us when we arrived and made us feel welcome. The cottage was clean and so well appointed, right down to the smallest detail. We will definitely stay again.

This was our second stay at Charleen's Cottage and once again it was wonderful! Great location, comfortable home and everything we could possibly need- coffee, tea, waters, creamer, shampoo and soaps, extra bedding and plenty of dishes and cookware. On top of this, it is in walking distance to all the downtown shops and restaurants. Highly recommend.

Charleen's Cottage is the perfect retreat! Our host, Linda, was very welcoming, answered all of our questions and made sure we had everything we needed. The cottage is cozy, clean and comfortable. Downtown Jacksonville is steps away- shops, grocery store and many restaurants are all in walking distance. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be visiting again.

I can't think of anything I would change about our stay here. The hosts are wonderful, so friendly. I think when I get moved to Jacksville, Linda and I will stay friends forever. The cottage is so nice, very comfortable, it's SO much better than being at the Inn or any other motel/hotel. Great price too! You can't go wrong here.

Cute little cottage with host next door. Convenient parking, was nice to have washer/dryer and there was plenty of coffee and some snacks. Loved the orange kitty that slept on the porch chair. Location is close enough to walk to downtown Jacksonville, cute coffee shop a couple doors down and gas station is located down the street. Met the host on a couple occasions and she was really sweet and accommodating.

The property was as advertised. It was exceptionally clean and beautifully decorated. It was very comfortable and very well stocked and a great location. I will definitely stay there again.

Great day couldn’t figure out the heaters so they were either too hot or too cold but upon googling, we figured it out by morning

Wonderful hosts! Excellent location close to a great BBQ joint (The Back Porch Bar and Grill) and the Pony Expresso Coffee shop for breakfast. Historic Jacksonville Old Town is just a short walk with fun shops great restaurants and friendly Saloons!

Such a fantastic place! It was a lovely stay, and a wonderful spot. Charleen’s Cottage was perfect for the pre-Christmas getaway I had planned with my mom. The location was perfect! (Jacksonville was great!) We were able to walk everywhere-shops, restaurants, coffee, shops, grocery store, gas station-all extremely close by. The cottage itself was just perfect. It had everything we needed. Clean, cozy, and beautifully built. Our host was kind and helpful and made sure to check in with us to make sure that we had everything we needed. If we ever head back to Jacksonville, I won’t hesitate to stay at Charleen’s cottage again! (And as an aside, the trail cam photo album was impressive!)

Stay was nice, clean, comfortable bed, full kitchen with amenities like soap, coffee, tea plus. Over all great stay. Close to town and close to my mom’s.

Beautiful place. Small it worked for what we neededd butt having the square footage listed would be more helpful to a bigger party than 2. Its also a mother in law apartment which I did not see in the listing. It wasn't an issue however as the host was vary accommodating and they very much left us to ourselves. There was some plumbing issues but them being next door was convenient and they took care of the issue right away. Thank you for the stay it was lovely and we were loud and enjoyed ourselves. Linda and her husband were very welcoming. I would stay again

A clean, cute, and comfortable cottage. The hosts were very kind and were there to welcome us and give a quick tour. It had everything you needed and then some. You can tell they put thought into adding extra items for convenience. It was an easy walk to the grocery store and the main street shops and restaurants.

Had the most wonderful time in Jacksonville getting to stay in this beautiful cottage. The location is amazing with so much within walking distance and the hosts are some of the loveliest people. I have never felt so at home when staying in a home-share type stay than I did staying here at Charleen's Cottage. Highly recommend this location for your next stay in Jacksonville.

My wife and I enjoyed our 2 night stay in Charleens Cottage. It was comfortable with everything we needed and was in a beautiful location. We really enjoyed the food next door at the back porch bar and grill. We would happilly come back and stay again.

This spot is fantastic! Stayed the night to break up a long drive and we were very pleased with the accommodations. The spot was super clean, and had everything we needed for our family of 4 to stay for the night. Spacious, great sofa bed for the kids, we loved it. The hosts were very nice and generous. We will be looking to stay here again the next time we make the drive, maybe even stay an extra night. The town looked very neat, we were bummed we didn't have time to explore.

I looked at a few places when planning our visit for the Jacksonville Wine Cruise. What really clinched my decision was the step 2 EV charger. Since there was no one staying the night before, they kindly let us show up early and hook up my car before our wine tour. The home was spotless and comfortable. The hosts were welcoming. We had a great visit and I’d stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay, the home was just what we needed. It was cold outside, so the hosts warmed the home prior to our arrival and brought extra toys for our child to play with. They gave us the most wonderful homemade goods when we were departing. Very relaxing and would stay there again.
