The Casita is attached to our home but separated by the two car garage. It is a southwestern style ranch surrounded by alfalfa fields and very large old growth cottonwood trees. The Casita is inside the gated main courtyard wall, which provides security and serenity. There are no neighbors close to the ranch, we are offset from the end of the road cul de sac by nearly 1/4 mile. The pool is located in the backyard of the main house and is suitable for use from Memorial day through Labor day. T

Stayed Oct 24, 2025Peaceful casita at the end of the road. We had a wonderful stay in a beautiful private place outside of Fruita. The host welcomed us and showed us around. Everything was perfect. The kitchen was well equipped, beautiful bathroom, nice combined seating and dinner area and a very comfortable bed. It was a fantastic experience.

Stayed Oct 18, 2025My partner and I fell in love with this place-we consider it in our top 2 favorite places as far as short-term rentals. we love how quiet and peaceful the location is, and the casita was more beautiful than the pictures on the listing. We met Rob, the owner, who is very friendly and helpful. We would love to stay here anytime we are in the area.

Stayed Oct 12, 2024Rob and Krista have a really special place that is comfy and cozy and had everything as listed. They were very attentive to my needs and had great communication. After booking they gave detailed instructions on how to find the location and check into the property. Krista greeted me upon arrival and showed me the lovely little casita and how to use appliances. I would definitely consider coming back!

Stayed Aug 8, 2024Rob and Krista were super accommodating. I didn't have a crate to put my dog Titan in, but they were flexible and let him go without. Titan met their dog and enjoyed going on off-leash walks around the property.
