Barney B's Cornett is a cozy, fully furnished private barn-remodel that has it all! A 600 sf studio apartment with a king bed in the lofted sleeping quarters, full kitchen, spacious bath and peaceful views. Not to mention the privacy. Very very private. Minutes from the amazing Samuel Boardman State Park, City of Brookings and Gold Beach. Pets ok upon approval. Smoking permitted outside. Quiet hours are between 11pm-8am. Check in between 4pm-10pm, checkout by 11am.

Stayed May 30, 2022We had the best time! This was a trip for my mom to visit the Redwood Forest and Brookings was a perfect place to stay. We were close to the Oregon trails and only a short drive to the California park. The house was exactly what we needed to rest at the end of the long days and Mary was a wonderful host. She recommended local spots to hit and even assisted with our drive up the coast to visit lighthouses.

Stayed Oct 7, 2021Been meaning to write a review here for a bit. Mary was a great host, super generous and shared all her favorite beach spots and more. We had some great conversations, but she was only present when we requested something and left us to our adventures otherwise. Perhaps not an ocean view but lovely sunset views over the hill from the barn. We had a great time and loved how warm and inviting the pellet stove made the space feel after day of long, beach hikes. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook our own meals. The converted barn had everything one could need but wasn’t crowded and felt spacious yet cozy. Over-all great place to stay!
