Description

This three-bedroom farmhouse is located in a quiet neighbourhood with a private parking space, and nearby amenities. This stunning home is only 4-minutes walk away from Xaghra's village square where there is a varied selection of restaurants and bars. A short distance away are the Megalithic temples of Ggantija. These consist of two Neolithic stone temples built from as early as 3600BC making them amongst the oldest freestanding stone buildings in the world.

Nearby sights include Xerri's Grotto, Ninu's Cave, Calypso Cave, Ta’ Kola Windmill, the Museum of Toys, and the nearest sandy beach of Ramla Bay which is just a 9-minute drive away. Another beach in the vicinity is located in Marsalforn.

The house is built in traditional limestone and includes architectural features which add charm and character. It is split across two floors, and it can comfortably accommodate up to 6 people with ease. With a living and dining area, kitchen overlooking the outdoor pool and BBQ area, this farmhouse is an ideal place to relax, de-stress and recharge.

At ground floor level, one finds a spacious living area, kitchen, and a dining area. The kitchen area is equipped with air conditioning, and a bathroom is located at ground floor level. The kitchen/dining area overlooks an outdoor swimming pool. The outdoor area includes a shaded area which provides our guests with the possibility of comfortable al fresco dining, and also includes a BBQ, loungers and chairs.

A lovely curved stone staircase leads to the first floor, which has three bedrooms. There are 2 twin rooms, and a double room. Two of these bedrooms lead to a spacious and sunny terrace overlooking the outdoor swimming pool. One of the bedrooms leads onto a separate terrace overlooking the street. All bedrooms have en-suite facilities, fans and air-conditioning, for both cold air and heat. All bedrooms could easily accommodate a cot, if required. Wi-Fi is available throughout.

All beds will be prepared with the appropriate bed linen, and extra pillows and blankets will be provided. Guests will also be provided with 3 large bathroom towels, 3 medium bathroom towels, 3 face cloths and 2 pool towels per person. For bookings of 10 nights and over, we will offer you free maid service, replacement of bed linen and towels every week.

Its spacious layout makes it suitable for couples, families and groups.

We had a fantastic stay. The property was well equipped, clean and so spacious, with a fantastic pool. The photos do not do the property justice - even more impressive in person. The location was perfect with the added benefit of private parking, and Christian was such a great host from the 1st to the last minute of our holiday. Highly recommended and will be back!!

Our family stay in this farmhouse was amazing! Christian and Lara were fantastic hosts and we arrived to a welcome food/drink parcel which was a lovely gesture. Everything spotless, plenty of towels and lots of kitchen cooking equipment. The house is very spacious and the pool/ outside area was great. We were sad to leave today! Located very close to xghara square but located in a quiet street. Very centrally located to travel to the beach / other villages in short affordable taxi rides. I would highly recommend this farmhouse. Gozo is a peaceful paradise and will definitely be back.

A perfect retreat to relax and explore the beautiful island of Gozo (and Malta/Comino)Xaghra has plenty of excellent restaurants to dine out, whilst the villa provided all the amenities you could wish for.Christian and Lara were amazing and attentive hosts, who ensured everything was catered for.The villa was at an exceptional standard where nothing was left wanting. Our thanks to Christian and Lara for this.Would highly recommend the Villa to enhance a stay in Gozo.Would love to return one day to continue our exploration of the Islands.Thank you again Christian and Lara for adding to our fantastic experience.

We had a fantastic stay at Christian’s place. It looked exactly like the photos and was very comfortable. The space was amazing. We loved the pool and spent a lot of time out there both in the day and at night. There is a bbq if you want to use that. Christian is a lovely and very thoughtful host. We would definately stay again and would thoroughly recommend. Xaghra was a lovely village to stay in, plenty of places to eat and have a drink.

First things first, 5 stars, no hesitation (more if we could)! Our host Christian was amazing, met us on arrival, at 11pm, when he should have been at his cousins wedding! He was always contactable and always helpful. The house was spotlessly clean, comfortable beds and cool, cool aircon... Its well appointed and has everything you need including a massive fridge/freezer. The pool was lovely, again clean and refreshing in the heat. It's deep at 2.5m and we loved it. As to Gozo, we loved it as well, we loved the swimming and we swam in most bays. Everyone is friendly. It's beautifully quiet and we never queued. We we ate out most nights and the portions are big, you could survive on one meal a day! Gozo is one place I'd happily return to, as is this property, no question.
