Stayed Mar 21, 2026This lovely home is an oasis for families. We are Grandparents traveling with a 14 month Grandchild. This home was so well appointed and we had all our needs met. With access to children's toys, a high chair and playground set, we were set! We so enjoyed having meals on their covered porch watching wildlife. So peaceful. The bedrooms are comfortable and clean. The hosts were very responsive and we can't wait to come back.

Stayed Mar 11, 2026We booked to stay while going to Round Top and Warrenburg to shop ‘til you drop. It is about 30 minutes SE of those towns and about 15 minutes south from downtown Brenham. The wrap around porches lend plenty of spaces to enjoy drinks, meals, morning coffee, etc. From the master bedroom enjoy watching the sunrise from the warmth of your bed or keep the drapes pulled and enjoy some extra shut eye. Well thought out and beautiful surroundings welcoming young and old alike make this a memory making destination. Look forward to our next visit.

Stayed Feb 12, 2026All was substantially as expected. The one star was lost due to the required very expensive insurance or even more expensive deposit. We have stayed in dozens of VRBOs in hill country and never seen this requirement. We almost didnt book because of it.
