Stayed Aug 20, 2016We recently stayed in the Nespolo II apartment with a party of 6. The inside space was adequate for our party. Nespolo II is the upstairs apartment on the property which has several other apartments (seemed to be more than the 3 included in the VRBO listing). It has a separate entrance with 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, a living room which serves as a 4th bedroom if needed (and is more of a bedroom than a living room - 2 single beds and a small sofa), and a small kitchen. From the pictures on the website, it is difficult to determine which picture relate to which apartment. I was a little disappointed by the interior living space (i.e. living room and kitchen) as the space was small and lacked some of the charm I saw in other pictures on the website. I thought about arranging a cooking lesson at the apartment, which would have been difficult in the kitchen space of Nespolo II. The bedrooms were quite large. A few of the rooms are located above the outdoor space for some of the other apartments and some members of our party had to deal with noise of other guests who stayed in their outside space late into the evening. The outdoor space is really the charm to this apartment. The pool is lovely and very clean with plenty of lounge chairs and umbrellas. Each apartment has a space designated in the garden or on a patio with a table and there is a common space with hammocks, grills and lounge furniture. These spaces were very nice and comfortable. It was also great to have access to laundry, which is shared by all of the guests, but we never had a problem accessing it when needed. We were there for 11 nights and didn't receive clean linens, which I thought were changed weekly. Perhaps we needed to ask for a change, but thought that would have been explained. The property is located close to Belforte (5-10 mins by car and walkable) and Radicondoli (15 mins by car - probably not walkable). Radicondoli has a few restaurant options which were good. Mensano is another town nearby also with a restaurant. This property is definitely worth considering for your trip to Tuscany!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We had a great stay at Vecchio Mulino. The view is magnificent, the place is calm and well taken care of by the helpful and friendly Ilaria! It's a great spot to explore the villages in Tuscany. Worth coming back!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Ilaria made last minute arrangements for us as we passed through the area on our way to Rome. She was easy to work with and even offered to help us tour around Rome where he also has a home. She was very accomodating and the property is simply magical. It is perched on a hill with wonderful views of Radicondoli and olive trees . We walked across the street to a wonderful restaurant the night of our stay to top of a wonderful, too brief stay. We will be back.
