Stayed Sep 26, 2025This home is a must visit for people who love quirky older homes with loads of character. There are many modern features, but the original personality of the home remains. Our host was amazing. She communicated everything we needed to know and helpful tidbits in the leadup to our visit. She answered all our questions and anticipated our needs. The property had something for everyone in our family: amazing night sky viewing, a claw foot tub to soak, a large yard to run around, sprinklings from The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock for the poet, space to spread out, to mention just a few. Our only regret was we couldn't stay longer.

Stayed Aug 15, 2025What a wonderful place this turned out to be for our first ever visit to Nova Scotia. Our host left a few pleasant surprises to welcome us to her farmhouse and we loved them. All our needs were met and our party of 8 felt right at home. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of towels for everyone (which is important when you have a large group). I highly recommend that guests take a morning walk up the road to the host family’s vineyard and take in the breathtaking views. I definitely see us staying here again should we be fortunate to return to Nova Scotia one day.

Stayed Jul 4, 2025Being a family that appreciates and grew up in the country, The farmhouse made us all feel very much at home away from home. It accommodated my parents on the main level with ensuite bathroom and air conditioning, nice to spoil them after all these years. The upstairs, my sister and her son had two rooms to themselves and my wife an I had a beautiful room to call our own. There are additional rooms upstairs if we ever wanted to bring more quests on our return trip, which we will definitely do. The nice claw foot tub in the upstairs bathroom was a highlight for those wanting some time to relax and decompress. Playing catch on the front lawn with my nephew and father was a great way to spend an afternoon. We even enjoy a few games of washer toss. One of the highlights for us was the beautiful patio with lots of seating and a nice breeze throughout the day while we enjoyed cold beverages and freezies. The kitchen had everything we needed to make delicious meals for everyone throughout the weekend. Nice quiet neighbourhood made for some enjoyable evening strolls along the vineyards perimeter road. The horse lover in our group (Mom) was excited to see a horse event next door, she was able to enjoy watching from the patio. If you arrive around early July there is a stunning Cherry tree with the sweetest cherries we've ever had. I am not sure how to describe how perfect this place is for a group or family, but it is. I'll leave you with this picture to showcase how relaxing it is.

Stayed Jun 20, 2025We very much enjoyed the property and the farmhouse. Comfortable, cozy, and clean. We had lots of room for all of us and all the amenities we needed along with nice extras and personal touches. The beds were comfortable. We would definitely go there again.

Stayed Aug 14, 2024This property is a bastion of peace. I am grateful for thé warm communication from the host, Nova, the freshly baked bread and the wine, and invitation to walk the orchards next door. We stayed at a difficult time when a family member who lived nearby was passing and the beautiful stone patio and splashing fountain as well as the mountain and vineyard views were good Medicine. Overall excellent
