Great location and house is actually nicer than the photos indicated. A couple of things were listed in the house manual that are no longer available - hot tub, access to fruit orchard, water side fire pit. Only disappointing if expected. Lovely quiet place - good kitchen and comfy beds.

We had a great time. The space and kitchen were terrific for our family dinners. A few repairs that were fixed made it a little awkward. The repairman was pleasant and from a local family we were familiar with so it was good that we trusted him to work while we were there. The upstairs bathroom really needs a locking knob. . .blackberry runners should be cut back from the back steps. Housekeepers should report back to owners about them if gardeners haven’t been by for a while. The repairman/locksmith fixed the doorknob on the Queen room so it stays closed now. It’s a very old building so things need to be expected.

We did not have heat in the house for 31 days in October, no hot water in the upstairs bathroom sink for 3 days, no drain in the sink until I fixed it. No fireplace for 10 days, cracked, broken gas line, broken glass doors. Carpets stained and filthy, Upholstry on all furniture was filthy & stained from sweat, house smelled, pans were filthy, Half the shades in the house were broken, curtains are in shreds, house sits right on the road, lights flashing in the bedroom all night, beds are broken down, I have never stayed in such a disgusting place. You pull up and look at there junk yard. The cabinets are filled with junk, moldy cushions are in the dinning room closet and it smells really bad. We found the owners to be very dishonest in every way. I could never recommend this property!

Property was a pleasant older farmhouse that we truly enjoyed. Owner/manager was very accommodating. We are looking forward to renting again soon.

Was fun to stay in a historic farmhouse. Great location close to Roche Harbor. Overall plenty of room and all the necessities were provided. The house was not cleaned very well before our arrival and there were some repair issues. There was zero communication with anyone about these issues. (There were 3 different names/numbers given as property manager in a book in the house. We left messages for each one, nobody ever responded.)
