Stayed Sep 27, 2025The pool is nothing but for show. The water has no heater and no one else is there. The woman was rude and impossible. There was no heat and she refused to turn it on. It was the worst place I have ever stayed. When I asked for heat she told me to go somewhere else so I booked a hotel instead. She should not be renting anything and Shame on VRBO for not vetting these people. The road there was as dangerous as they come. Tiny lane for two way traffic and many sharp curves. AWFUL PLACE!!!!!!!

Stayed Jul 9, 2023We stayed one week in this beautiful Apartment which is one of 4 in the total villa. Nice country view from the kitchen/ living room and another two bedrooms with 1 double and one single bed.Typical Tuscany moebles and kitchen. Only the entrance is difficult to enter with two steps. Air conditioned bedrooms with extra charge (10€/day) what is a must in July with constant 36 degrees. Friendly hosts (Italian/Swiss). The usual Morning dog barking at 6 was a little bit annoying. Nice pool as usual depending from the other guests (children/teens) Many cities around (Lucca, Pistoia, Pisa, Florence) Overall a good stay. Recommended!

Stayed Apr 11, 2022Agatha & Marco were great hosts and very helpful in printing some forms and tickets for us. Also gave us a sample of their homemade wine and olive oil. Great stay and not very far from Pistoia, (stores, restaurants, church and train to Florence)

Stayed Aug 13, 2021What a lovely, clean and super located stay! Located in the beautiful hills of Tuscany, with the most beautiful Italian cities around you! Great to combine culture (in the morning) with relaxation in the sun by the pool (in the afternoon). Really pleasant hosts! Would definitely recommend!

Stayed Aug 9, 2020We spent a wonderful four nights here and immediately regretted not staying much longer. Casa al Sargente is perfectly situated up a quiet winding road on a property with 2000 olive trees, beautiful garden and essential and fabulous pool. Marco and Agatha gave us the best tiramisu I’ve ever had. The apartment is comfortable and has everything you need. We can’t wait to come back.

Stayed Sep 29, 2018We loved this location a few miles outside the fabulous town of Pistoia which has all the architecture, culture, food and amenities with a fraction of the tourists. The villa is beautifully maintained and presented, the pool area has great views over the olive groves, and the owners are lovely.

Stayed Sep 1, 2018Lovely spacious apartment in country house with amazing views over Pistoia,Florence and surrounding hills House has four apartments but we had it to ourselves! Pool was great and the whole place was clean and well looked after. Friendly owners (Thank you for the drinks and tiramisu) Plenty of places to visit in the area but you will need a car Would certainly go back
