5-bed Colonial Berkshires Farmhouse, aka Grandaddy's House, Family Friendly home

What a perfect place for a family get away! House was exactly as described and comfortable for our family of 3 couples and 3 grandchildren (2, 5, and 7). Our small dog enjoyed himself as well. One small problem with the internet was dealt with by host immediately and professionally. Old house with some tilted floors but lovingly maintained. Will consider renting again.

The house was great - exactly what we expected. And our host was amazing, very responsive, and a great communicator!

My family had a wonderful week at this property. The scenery was beautiful. The kids loved the hot tub and the pool. We love to play board games and build puzzles; this place had plenty of places to sit and spend time together. We recommend this place!

5 stay! This charming and cozy farmhouse was so welcoming and well appointed! It was the perfect spot for our family for Christmas. We had 10 adults and a baby and had all the space we needed - lots of cozy spots for stories, puzzles, gifts, drinks, meals, etc. We loved it and have wonderful memories (and photos!) to cherish!The Marr Family

Our Thanksgiving stay at this property was absolutely magical. The home strikes a perfect balance between cozy comfort and elegant amenities. The kitchen is truly stunning - it became the heart of our holiday celebrations, while multiple fireplaces throughout created warm, intimate spaces for our family to gather and relax.The location is ideal - nestled in beautiful surroundings with excellent hiking trails nearby, yet just a convenient 20-minute drive to fantastic restaurants and shopping in town. It provided the secluded vacation feel we were looking for while keeping all amenities within easy reach.Special mention must go to Blythe, whose outstanding customer service made our stay even more memorable. Her attention to detail and responsiveness were exceptional. We're already looking forward to exploring your other properties!A perfect family getaway that exceeded our expectations in every way!

We absolutely loved our stay in Blythe's home. The fall colors were on full display and the house was exactly as pictured, except even nicer and more spacious in person. The house is full of character and is beautifully renovated and decorated. It served as a wonderful location for our intimate wedding, where we held a ceremony in the backyard, used the porch for a cocktail hour, comfortably sat 10 around the dining room table, and danced in the living room. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking large meals with our group. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Beautiful old house with lots of updated amenities and character. Definitely feels remote, and we saw 3 bear cubs during our Memorial Day long weekend. Blythe was great to work with and provided all the information we needed. Our group was 3 couples with 4 young kids and everyone had plenty of room and their own bathroom and more! The window AC units provided what we needed on some pretty hot days. The only thing that was not perfect was the family room. We like to have movie nights and while the styling was on point, it’s not the coziest sofa and set up. The forced perspective of the work on the mantel was a little disorienting so we didn’t really watch anything (except Trolls for the kids, haha). Instead, we sat on the screened porch, chatting and enjoying the sounds of nature. We took a trip into the nearby town (about 30 min drive) and found great food and nice shopping. Overall a great stay!

Our family of 6 adults and 2 kids under three had a great week. The space is comfortable, clean and bright. The kitchen has all the amenities you need. The yard and pool added to the experience! Thanks Blyth!

We had the absolute pleasure of hosting our family and friends for our very small cozy wedding and everything was perfect. The house was gorgeous, very well stocked, super comfortable and tastefully designed. The fireplaces were so nice to sit by, the kitchen was amazing and the bedrooms were very comfortable. Our hosts were so lovely and easy to communicate with, was everything we hoped for and more! Would LOVE to come back to experience this property in the summer.
