World's highest tides! Pet-friendly, bayfront cottage with a large fenced yard.

A beautiful property with stunning views. The cabin is quaint, and very well kept with a charming coastal vibe. The property has secure fencing for those travelling with pets and a well curated outdoor space. The host, Angela, is extremely prompt, responsive and well informed about the area and local must-dos. Overall, a fabulous trip! Looking forward to returning!

This was a perfect location for us! The house is right on the waterfront, with a private beach available for walking or sea glass hunting. It's also within walking distance of the local market, a nice takeout place, and a Dollar General. The dishes and other amenities were good quality (not always guaranteed in rentals). The shower was warm, with good water pressure. Once the gate is closed, our dog had a large fenced in yard to roam around, without worrying about him getting out or bothering the neighbors. The owner and caretaker were both friendly and responsive. The only ding I can think of is that since the main house is quite small, the kitchen, dining area, etc. are too. But we will definitely consider staying there again!

This is such an amazing property, especially if you are traveling with pets. The front deck with the beautiful views and sunsets was the perfect place to relax after our daily adventures! The entire large yard is fenced for the fur babies, which was perfect.

We had such a great time. The owners were so helpful with all the best places to go and things to do. The house was just so cute with amazing views. Our dogs loved it as well and the fenced in yard was perfect. I highly reccomend and would stay again!!

It was a gorgeous place to stay and exactly what we needed for a family trip with the dogs.

We had a nice 3 night stay at Angela’s Halibut House and Lobster Lair. The house is nicely decorated and has a great deck overlooking the water. Halibut House was perfect for 2 people and our adult daughter enjoyed her privacy in Lobster Lair. Most of our stay was foggy and rainy, but we were able to go hiking at Quoddy Head and eat at some local restaurants. We did not cook there, so can’t comment on that part but our dog loved the yard and the deck as much as we did. Angela was very responsive, helpful and ready to make sure our stay went well.

We liked having the two separate buildings, the two large beds were really comfortable and clean. My dad mentioned the pull out couch smelled a little like dog. Bathroom was a little small but we were able to make do. The hot water was almost instant and got really hot, which was nice and relaxing. We didn't have any dogs with us for this stay, but I appreciate the fenced in yard. The only major complaint we had was the door lock system. The main building unlocked easily enough, but to lock it again the shimmy-shake only worked from time to time. The lobster lair lock worked fine for 1.5 days, and then it didn't. Thankfully, Sophie was super speedy in rescuing us and we were able to get it unlocked after climbing through the window. Lol otherwise, we really enjoyed our stay. Lots of birds around, didn't see any seals or whales this time, but beautiful sunsets were great!

For us, the large, securely fenced yard made all the difference for our Jack Russell. Beautiful views of the bay from the porch, the living area, and the upstairs bed room. The upstairs bedroom was very comfortable although the stairs are a little steep. Our host was quick to respond to any of our questions and the house is an easy drive to a well stocked IGA grocery store. I recommend bringing your passport and going to Campobello Island. See Liberty Point for some beautiful cliff views.

Great yard for dogs. Beautiful view from house. Stairway to bedroom not the easiest for older people or those with even slight mobility problems. View from upstairs bedroom was beautiful. Bed was comfortable but had a strong odor that was very unpleasant. Very charming little place, maybe just needs a little more TLC.

Exactly what we are looking for in a get away. Close to town, hiking, birding, etc., or just watching the sunset over the water. A great home away from home.
