Wonderful cabin getaway Just what we wanted Oh, the view from the sunroom

This listing is just as described, and so much better! What a peaceful and relaxing week I had. The cottage was the perfect size for me and my little dog. She and I both lived in the sunroom, with the big, comfortable chair, floor to ceiling windows and beautiful views. Perfect little cottage.To property is very welcoming and inviting. There are several sitting places outside also, and my dog loved the big dog run.The owner checked in with me upon arrival to make sure everything was to my satisfaction. Communication with him was excellent.This is a perfect getaway, and I will definitely be returning.

This is one of the nicest VRBO homes that we have stayed at. So very peaceful and relaxing. We loved the sunroom. We stayed 14 days and we had every type of weather, snow, thunderstorms and sunny days, the views were beautiful. We hope to return in the future.

It was the perfect weekend getaway. Our hosts were so thoughtful that they even had a small cake for my husband’s birthday waiting in the fridge. The cottage is so quaint and cozy and the view from the sunroom is breathtaking. We loved bringing our dog and there was even a large yard for him to run free in. The property is peaceful and relaxing. It exceeded our expectations.

The property was the perfect size for a relaxing vacation, offering both comfort and convenience. The views were absolutely stunning, creating the ideal backdrop for our stay. The host was exceptionally welcoming and attentive, which made the entire experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a memorable getaway.

David and Jennifer are most gracious hosts! They take utmost pride in meticulously maintaining their property. The cottage and grounds are inviting, offering beautiful views of the mountains beyond the valley overlook. The cottage was clean and comfortable and pet friendly. We had 2 small dogs along on this trip who thoroughly enjoyed the large exercise pen that allowed them to run free. We really enjoyed our time at The Peaceful Valley Cottage and will surely try to stay there on our next visit to Franklin!

Very relaxed time in a sweet cozy place. Host was welcoming and gracious. Property was gorgeous with lovely flowers and beautiful landscape. It was a nice break from the heat in the low country!

Great place and location.

Great place to stay for a romantic getaway. Quiet and peaceful with GREAT views. We saw deer most every morning and evening, the Smoky Mountain views are great and seeing fireflies in the early evening brought back childhood memories. The cabin is nicely decorated and you have what you need to prepare meals. Our hosts David and Jennifer were wonderful.

It was almost 40 years ago that I was a outdoor instructor in the mountains of North Carolina. The beauty is still breathtaking. What made this trip so relaxing was the home away from home cabin of Jennifer and David. So relaxing and beautiful it made our anniversary trip so special.

This was the perfect place after a very busy month. From communication to the hospitality, to the view- it was exactly what we needed!

Hosts David and Jennifer were fantastic to work with…very attentive in every aspect and always quick to respond to our inquiries. The cottage was neat and clean. The sunroom was our favorite feature with an unbelievable view! Great location!

Oh my goodness, the view from the sunroom is amazing! It is very peaceful and beautiful here. The owners are so friendly and helpful. They let us know of things to do in Franklin and the surrounding area. We had our pet with us and she was able to be leash-free in the very large, fenced pet area. The views are pastoral and the bells that gently ring in the distance were so pretty.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Franklin. Everything was near perfection . The cottage was wonderful....very inviting, comfortable and relaxing. The bed was very comfortable. The owners were very nice and available. The cottage had everything we needed, including recommendations for local businesses to visit and restaurant's to try. This mini vacation to Franklin was just what we needed and the area was just wonderful to explore and see the beginning of the fall leaf color.

My husband and I loved our second time staying at the cottage. Everything is so beautiful and peaceful there. David and Jennifer are wonderful host and hostess. Can’t wait to return for a stay in the spring.

Jennifer and David were awesome hosts. They were helpful with anything we needed to know about Franklin. The cottage had everything we needed and was very comfortable. The scenery was beautiful having the mountains to look out at while having breakfast. We had our two pugalier dogs with us and appreciated being able to have them with us there. There is a pond to fish in. It is close to town but feels like you are away from it all.Highly recommend staying here.

The perfect peaceful retreat we needed for a time of solitude and contemplation. The view of the mountains are beautiful as are the valley below. We were graced by the presence of deer feeding right outside our window both morning and evening. The Algers are wonderful hosts and treat their guests more like friends than renters. This is our sixth year staying. We highly recommend.

Enjoyed the peace and quite

My fiancé and I were looking for a relaxing, soul rejuvenating stay while we visited family in the mountains and did a little sightseeing — and we wanted to make our mini vacay a meaningful escape from the “big city” for our pups as much as for us. David and Jennifer’s Vrbo was perfect! They are both such warm and welcoming hosts, and the view from the sunroom is unbeatable. The large dog kennel left our pups so happy and blissfully tuckered out. Added bonus: We could faintly make out the Milky Way on our nighttime walks with the dogs. 🌌 Amazing stay all around!

We had a wonderful stay. The cozy cottage was perfect with its incredible views. The beds were so comfortable and the cottage was clean. Everything we needed was there. We cannot say enough about our host David and Jennifer. They were very welcoming and informative. We highly recommend this place.

Super view, rural, great for a couple or possibly 1 young child. Short drive to many restaurants. Good weather. 45 minutes of narrow twisting narrow highway to beautiful lake. Price was reasonable and hosts had equipped it well.

We totally enjoyed our stay at Dave and Jennifer's beautiful property! They were great, friendly hosts. The cottage was perfect for the two of us and our small dog. They thought of everything when they furnished this place. The view of the mountains and pastures from the sunroom (where we spent a good bit of time) is fantastic. The cottage was very clean, the bed was comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed (and then some). My husband enjoyed catching and releasing some small fish in the pond on their property. The Franklin area has a lot to offer and we just love the mountains. If you are looking for a quiet and beautiful place to get away from it all, this is your place.
