Stayed Dec 2, 2025Beautiful location. Great little cottage with everything you need. Sitting on the verandah watching the sheep, kangaroos and birds at dusk was the highlight.

Stayed Aug 21, 2025Very private and relaxing stay. Good heating and electric blankets. Great selection of DVDs. Beautiful nature setting with sheep, birds and Tony's quality wine tasting on site. Tony was a wonderful host!

Stayed Apr 18, 2025This is our second time staying at short sheep and we loved it. The cottage is spacious and clean. We even saw bit of the milky way in the sky at night.

Stayed May 3, 2024Cozy cottage style accommodation with sheep for company. Grateful for the reverse cycle that kept us warm. Close to wineries and a five minute drive in to the main part of Mudgee.

Stayed Nov 4, 2022Lovely property to relax in with verandah overlooking a paddock with sheep and mountains in the background. The place had everything we needed including very comfortable beds and appreciated Tony allowing us having a later check out due to ill health. Would definitely come back again

Stayed Jul 11, 2022What a beautiful stay! Tony was a great host throughout the whole process making sure we felt welcomed & had everything we needed. The cottage is spacious and comfortable with all the amenities needed, even some extra items (pantry & bathroom items) which was a bonus. It’s in a great location with only a short drive into town whilst still feeling like you’re in the country. Cannot recommend Tony’s accomodation enough!
