Stayed Dec 23, 2025As I reflect on my time at the Lindbergh property, I know this will be a memorable Christmas that my family will talk about for years to come. We are a positive group, and were very happy to be able to gather together. We generally make the best of a situation, however we also have standards and strongly feel that the images provided in the listing do not adequately set expectations - from general conditions, to safety and health. After arriving and sending a few images of pre-existing damage, I noticed a consistent trend of everything feeling half-finished - holes in walls, patchy paint jobs, nails and screws poking out of walls, missing window treatments, missing furniture, amongst other concerns. The fire extinguishers either are missing their inspection records or expired. There are completely missing fire alarms in the living room and pool area. On top of these aesthetic concerns and life/safety hazards, while preparing breakfast the first morning mouse droppings were found inside the silverware tray. They were also within every drawer. These were reported in another review, posted December 17. Our stay was Dec 23-28. While cleaning the drawers and their contents, a dead mouse and nest was located. Guest Contact was notified and someone arrived promptly to dispose of it. There is a dilapidated trailer 15’ from the back door where many more mice are likely living. We had a habitable place to stay, but I feel like I got invited to stay at my friend’s divorced uncles house. Not where I would expect to spend our spending hard earned money on.

Stayed Nov 26, 2025Pictures are exactly what you get. However the cleaning is horrible. Dirty wash clothes, urine stained toilets. We found soiled men’s underwear blatantly in the middle of the restroom floor. Rat pellets in the kitchen drawers. Dust everywhere! Owners didn’t respond to any of our complaints. Vrbo should take this down until host can show updates and cleaning.

Stayed Nov 1, 2025Good location. Exactly what we needed to stay and hunt in the area. There were 11 guys and 3 girls to hunt for 10 days. Plenty of space and beds to accommodate. We had a few issues that the host resolved very quickly. The kitchen could use a few more pots and pans and a good cleaning in the drawers this time of year. Overall we were very happy with the accessibility and space. We would return.

Stayed Nov 7, 2024Stayed here with 6 people for a Mizzou football game. Was definitely a different retro-feeling space, eclectic with the attached buildings but worked for what we needed it to. Had a little communication mishap with the cleaning person and our early arrival, but the host Tim was easy to & quick to communicate. Distance didn't feel far from Mizzou where we drove mostly, located very close off the highway. We enjoyed going to Artichoke Annie's during our stay. Outdated and some bedrooms/bathrooms need some replacements/maintenance but like I said, worked with what we needed for a football weekend with a bigger group.

Stayed May 8, 2024The lower level flooded twice during a 4 night stay. Per owner, blamed on female personal products being flushed. Not our issue during our stay. Lighting didn't work in dining room or family room. Most window cranks were broken so couldn't open windows. If crank worked, no screen. Bed still broken per previous review so not usable. Informed grill was usable. No tank of gas available but owner replaced when asked. Grill and area needed cleaning. Halloween candy found by grill...May rental! Possitives..7 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, not all usable. Needs updates and MAINTENANCE!

Stayed Apr 16, 2024The photos of this place were beautiful! What we received was not. Musty rooms, ripped up sheets, broken drawers in the kitchen, filthy kitchen sink, old couches, dirty bathrooms, showers towels that smelled of smoke…I could go on. I came for a conference with 15 of my students, my husband, our daughter, and a co-sponsor and was left disappointed and quite frankly, pissed off. I paid a lot of money for junk, don’t stay here, find somewhere else where the property is accurately describe and managed appropriately.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We had a nice stay. Everyone had their own spot. The deck was nice to sit on as we had nice weather. The pool table was nice as well. I liked that there were two bedrooms to the left of the living room right when you walked in and also an accessible shower. For a person who has knee issues, it was nice not to have to climb into a tub for showering. While I know it goes with the decoration of the cabinet self, the six small stools around the “kitchen table” (which consist of three small tables lined up) would be difficult if there were older people or people with leg issues as they are small and low to the ground.
