This charming family lakehouse (on the river) is ideally located where Indian River meets Burt Lake, with DeVoe Beach directly next door (great for fishing, swimming, and building sand castles). Just 30 minutes from Petoskey and Nubs Nob Ski Resort. 35 minutes to Mackinac bridge. 1 mile from Indian River Golf Course. The home features an eat-in kitchen with all new appliances, 1.5 bathrooms, and three bedrooms with a queen size bed, a full size bed, and a set of twin bunk beds. The living room features new sectional seating and and 65” smart tv w/ cable and WiFi. The family room features a sitting area. The cottage sleeps a total of 6 persons. Brand new steel sea wall (2020) with private dock to accommodate up to a 30ft boat. *Please Note: Linens and towels are not provided.

Great location. Beach next door and nice watching boats on the river. Walking distance to town. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying here with the close proximity to town, the state park and local beach. We swam at the beach, boated the river and biked around town. We hope to come back.

We had a wonderful time at this property! It’s location was perfect and my 9 year old granddaughter could play in the sand at the beach knowing I could see her and call her back for dinner:). The owner responded to my questions very promptly. As in a previous review, the air conditioning is limited to an area, not whole house, and there’s not a way to discern that by the description on HomeAway.com. Beds very comfortable, and sheets were provided for us to make up fresh on our arrival. Grandkids loved the bunks! Had a very adequate kitchen, too, for our needs.

House was adequate for our needs. Location was excellent for Burt Lake access. Mayflies were really obnoxious. If you don’t like it hot, bring fans. The single window AC unit kept the back room cold but 6 fans were needed to cool down the rest of the house. Overall a good experience.
