There is plenty of work top space from which to prepare a delicious evening meal or a tasty picnic to enjoy whilst out exploring. The dining room offers French doors that leads out to the garden providing a dining table with a magical view. Whilst across the hall is king-size bedroom with garden view and house shower room. The pretty cottage garden sits to the rear of Beam Cottage, here, you can enjoy the afternoon sun, take a nap on the reclining chairs. On an evening take a glass of wine outside and enjoy watching the beams from the nearby lighthouse.

A short stroll brings you to the village centre with a small selection of shops and local inns. The fish and chip shop has a great reputation too. Flamborough is perfect for bird watchers and walkers, there are spectacular cliffs, small coves and smugglers caves to explore. RSPB Bemopton Cliffs is also close by. The nature reserve of Danes Dyke is just along the coast and there are a choice of golf courses to choose from too. Enjoy the historic homes of Burton Agnes, Sewerby Hall and Gardens or take a leisurely drive through the unspoilt rolling hills of the Yorkshire Wolds. The larger resorts of Bridlington, Scarborough and Filey are close by and the ancient walled City of York is under an hour’s drive away. A well-placed luxury holiday home for an indulgent break.
