We were here for our annual girls weekend. The cabin was very cozy and well stocked. There is a very nice pier, from which my daughter caught a nice northern pike! I liked that we were less than a half hour from shopping in Minocqua, and there were plenty of places nearby to get dinner. We had a fish fry at Moose Jaw resort, and lunch at the Black Bear Bar & Grill, both of which had great food, atmosphere, and friendly staff. The area that I felt this place could improve would be from a better outdoor space. There is a concrete patio with a picnic table and charcoal grill, but it would have been nice to have some comfortable patio furniture to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Overall, I give this place a 9/10, and would definitely recommend!

Overall good. The slope from the house to the dock is very steep, the pictures were misleading. We chose this property because the pictures led to believe it was a more flat walk out. It’s an hill. Our mom could not walk down with great fear of falling. So that sucked. Beds were comfy!

This cabin is just beautiful. The interior is very new and provides a true cabin experience. Access to the lake is outstanding which provides great fishing and recreational opportunities. The best part we felt was the responsiveness of the owner. He was very quick to respond to any questions we had. We recommend this place to anyone looking to get away in the great northern outdoors of Wisconsin!

The property was warm and inviting. Bedrooms were spacious and very comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked. The view out the front window with a cup of coffee is inspiring! Access to the lake and other attractions was perfect for ATV or boating. The owner did a good job of getting the property opened for us. It was great to be able to have pets. Though, guests need to be cautioned to pick up pet waste.

We have a family cabin on Pike Lake, but we are now 3 generations so my family (6 adults & 3 grandkids) stayed in these two nearby cabins, which could easily accommodate more. This property, with both cabins, is perfect for an extended family. Location is excellent ... it is private, with a beautiful setting directly on the lake and with great lake views from both cabins. If you aren't familiar with the area, there are several restaurants/bars nearby, and both Minocqua and Park Falls are an easy drive for shopping, more restaurants, etc.Cabins and property were clean, modern and the furnishings and decor reflect this is the owners' personal home vs an investment rental property. Everything was as described. One particular high point was the fact that the great room in each cabin is large, so there is plenty of space to play games, watch TV if you like, and eat comfortably ....especially if it's raining. Each cabin has a nice patio area to enjoy the outside with great views of the lake.Kitchens and laundry appliances were modern and more than adequate. Kichens were well stocked with what we needed. There were large TVs (if that's of interest), strong WiFi and plenty of parking.Lastly, I had a few questions prior to check in and during our stay. The owner responded quickly and was easy to communicate with both via phone and email. He was very friendly and helpful.I am already planning our stay for next year!

We had a great stay at this wonderful house. It’s a beautiful house in a great location. Remote but still close to some restaurants and a quick easy drive to Minocqua for shopping and groceries. We walked on the lake a few times and played in the snow with our dog. We enjoyed fires every evening in the stone fireplace while streaming movies on the large tv. The beds are comfy and the kitchen well stocked with pots and other items needed to cook. We had a cooked a few meals but also enjoyed a few of the restaurants that are just a few minutes down the road. The owner was super easy to work with via phone and text when we had a few questions and worked with us to get an early checkin. Over all amazing stay. We would definitely stay at this house again.

We had 8 guys spend 3 nights at this property. Cabin is wonderful and has a beautiful large open concept living room and kitchen. The presentation of everything is stunning with great natural light and accent lighting throughout. The couches were comfy, or comfy for 20 something year olds to crash on. There were also reclining options that were appreciated. Perfect house for a group of couples to rent out, maybe a large group of friends if you do not mind cuddling. We were able to see the lake from the beautiful front windows, which was awesome for tip up fishing. There is a second cabin on the property that is nearby. The owner stayed in this cabin the first night, but gave us our privacy for the most part. (This was out of the ordinary from what I was told, they were working on the cabins). Cabin was fairly clean, though random things were messy. There was an odd splatter on the wall from (what looked to be) soda, fridge was dirty, and other little things. They did say that the previous renters were messy and broke things, so I will cut them some slack. The property sits up on a hill overlooking the lake. It is truly a beautiful place and is very quiet and peaceful. Neighboring properties are spaced out and very secluded. During our stay we also visited the local casino and we heavily recommend the Black Bear bar and grill as a place to visit. A little further away, but it is worth the drive. Overall, great property and location. Will likely rent again.

We were here for a fisheree and found this gem to stay at. The views were spectacular and the beds were comfortable. The cabin has everything you need including laundry! And the location is perfect. You are secluded, yet minutes away from some local bars and restaurants. If you like to cook or bring your own meals, this cabin has everything you need. From pots and pans to plates and silverware. I will definitely book here again when in the area.

I booked this property a month ago but had to come back to review it because it was so nice! I meant to write this back when we checked out but we were in the middle of a cross country road trip. This was the perfect place for some R&R along our way. The cabin itself is gorgeous and was expertly decorated for fall (it looked like an interior designer came into the property!) This property gives you a very cozy and welcoming feeling with the decor, fireplace and large windows over looking the lake. There was no one renting the second cottage when we were there so it felt like a very secluded stay. Very peaceful! The owner Tom was very responsive and helpful making sure we had everything we needed. We would definitely book here again!

The cabin was beautiful and the setting was gorgeous! Beds were extremely comfortable and plenty of room for the whole family to lounge around. Weather was beautiful so we spent a lot of time in the kayak and paddle boards that we brought with. The guys were fishing and had really good luck with catching pike, musky and bass. They really enjoyed it! There is a smaller cabin next to the property that others can rent so we had another group next to us but we each had our own spaces so it was fine. There is only one fire pit but they never used it. We would have had no issue sharing. The one thing that I would be prepared for is northern WI has mosquitoes. We used a Thermocell and mosquito coils and that seemed to help but they were relentless. They come in stages so must have had a fresh batch that just hatched. Just be prepared and you will be fine. Overall a very enjoyable vacation. We would definitely stay there again!
