Waterfront Cottage near Friday Harbor - Best Place Cottage

The location is absolutely spectacular! The cottage is sweet and well appointed. We had everything we needed to make and enjoy a Thanksgiving meal. Incredible trip!

We had a woah moment when we entered the house after being welcomed by a dozen of seals lounging on the dock. The interior was as described, and smelled clean and everything was impeccable. It was a beautiful spot. Quiet, close to town and everywhere we wanted to go. Fun to watch the seals fishing so close. Cottage had everything needed just like home

Staying at this house added to the magic of the area. The view from the deck is breathtaking.… waking up in the morning in front of a small boat harbor.… Seeing the harbor seals, from our window relaxing on the dock… All of it made our stay here a very special timeAnd being just a bit over a mile from downtown Friday Harbor

Property had everything we needed. Having coffee on the porch watching the harbor life and activities unfold was one of the best parts.

Very clean place with a wonderful view of the cove leading to the main channel for the ferry landing. We spent our first day there just relaxing enjoying the view.

Cute clean peaceful well equipped comfortable

My boyfriend and I booked this little cabin a month or so before our arrival. We didn't have a rental car, but rented e-bikes and were able to get to the cabin from town in under 10 minutes. It was quiet and clean and had a nice view of a little harbor filled with boats. It worked perfectly for our needs and was nice and comfortable!

We were entertained continuously with the abundant wildlife...seals, otters, blue herons, deer, Canadian woodpecker, kingfisher birds, and geese! We’d start our morning with coffee on the porch and end it with tea on the porch! The place was clean, comfortable and just perfect in every way! We walked to and from town each day (1.5 miles there), rented e-bikes and biked to the lighthouse and Roche Harbor as well as a llama farm. We took a whale watching tour and saw many bald eagles, eight orcas, and seals...Maya’s Legacy was awesome! We really loved the fact that we were away from town, and isolated from any noise...it was peaceful listening to the many birds and hearing the seals on the dock! We will definitely come back and stay here!

We loved the cozy cabin and the location was so nice - beautiful and quiet. We enjoyed watching the seals from the back porch - 5 on the dock at one time. We had a fabulous vacation!

This cabin was an absolute gem! The location is stunning, overlooking the water, and the best surprise was getting a visit from some harbor seals which was such a magical experience. It was a little chilly inside, but the owners provided heaters, which made it nice and cozy. You can tell they’ve really put thought into making the stay comfortable and enjoyable for guests. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway in Friday Harbor, this place is a fantastic find.

My husband and I stayed. The weather was cool, so lack of ac was no problem. Small and cozy space. Nice small marina just outside — view held interest and the as quiet. Porch was great for morning coffee and evening reading… Bed was comfortable. The house is well-finished — (no chance of mold: something those of used to Maine seaside might worry about.)

Adorable waterfront cottage. When not out exploring the islands, can sit on porch and watch the seals.
