Waterfront Cottage

Home was lovely. Comfortable beds, good water pressure, well equipped kitchen. Quiet neighbors who were also friendly.

Very nice and private location. We enjoyed the beautiful sunrise and the fresh sea breeze.

Quiet neighborhood of seasonal residences overlooking a beautiful reach of Casco Bay. Close to Orr’s Island, Bailey Island, Harpswell Neck, and Cundy’s Harbor, as well as the attractions of Brunswick. House is comfortable, enjoys fresh sea-breezes, and everything is in good working order. We enjoyed the best rest here in our whole 12-day tour of Midcoast Maine.

Laura is a great host, everything we needed for a comfortable stay was provided. The view was beautiful!

Our stay at the cottage was very nice…as noted by the owner, the water views were wonderful with beautiful sunrises from the bedroom and living room windows, the home was supplied with all the towels we needed, and fully supplied kitchen. Perfect quiet spot for a tranquil retreat with relaxing waterfront views! This cozy house was a comfortable homebase for a long weekend exploring coastal Maine. Conveniently located near Brunswick Executive Airport and a short trip to explore the Portland area, Popham Beach, Harpswell, Bailey Island, and Hamilton Audubon Sanctuary. Delicious restaurants and sweet treats were discovered nearby. Try Sundrenched for lobster rolls and blueberry cocktails, Iris Eats for delicious breakfast sandwiches, Wild Oats Bakery & Cafe for lunch and sweets, Flight Deck Brewery for yummy pizza and a great selection of cold beer, and Fielder's Choice Ice Cream to name some favorites. Check-in/out was a breeze. The host, Laura, was quick to respond and kindly saved me by shipping a sentimental item I mistakenly left behind. Thanks for a fun stay!

The cottage is in a great location to sit and linger over a cup of coffee in the morning, looking out at the water. It is close to the Maine Maritime Museum and the town of Bath.

Perfect for us close location wise for visiting my so at college, close to freeport for shopping, house was so comfortable and had amazing views. Everything you needed was supplied, cant wait to visot again

Second stay for us. Again was clean, well stocked and peaceful. Just what we needed.

We enjoyed our stay here. The views are great and it was quiet and peaceful. Thought for the price we paid the amenities could have been a little more up to date. No dishwasher - will be on my must haves next time lol.. The house has well water - smelled like sulfur (bring bottled water). Plenty of things to do in the area though and the kids had fun.

This is a great location right on the water and near Brunswick. It was everything we hoped for…. except the place needs to be better cleaned and maintained. The floor was dirty enough we had to wash our feet after walking on it. The dishes and silverware required washing before we could use them. It was wonderful to have a Keurig but it took a half hour to clean and flush it so water would go through clear. Having a better cleaning crew would be a huge improvement.

Great spot right on the water. My kids loved going down to the water at low tide and finding shells. It was a short drive to Brunswick and Route 1. I’d definitely stay here again.

Amazing week in beautiful Maine. The cottage location was very convenient to explore the coastal region. The house was very comfortable with nice neighbors. We really enjoyed our week.

This would be a lovely vacation property if there had been easy access to the water. The photo in the advertisement shows the neighbor's dock and what looks like a sandy/pepplely beach. A great fuss was made in the advertisement about being able to harvest oysters at your doorstep. Unfortunaately in order to access the water one had to navigate decrept wooden steps that ended in seaweed covered (and therefore slippery) green fly and mosquito infested rocks. I'm not sure wheree the oysters were supposed to be. We love to swim and boat so fortunately for us the nextdoor neighbor on one side offered us the use of her dock to swim off of. The water is beautiful! To be fair, we were able to wash out the filty kayak on the property, bring up the padddles from the bulkhead basement and my husband was able to bring the kayak down to the rocks so we able to kayak although taking off and landing we not the most pleasant expeiences. There's a canoe too be getting it down to the water was a bit to challenging for us. But even if you just enjoy sitting in the sun and looking at the water, without a dock this is difficult to do. There is a narrow porch on the side of the house, where there's room for two people to sit at the same table but this porch overlooks the side of the neighbor's house and lawn. If this property were a third of the price, we would have no complaints but we were expecting a bit more for what was for us a rather expensive bayside vacation.

Nice being on the water yet close to everything Brunswick and surrounding area has to offer. Great neighbors!

This cozy cottage on a quiet lane has a beautiful view of the water. We saw a multitude of water fowl. The landtrust area just down the road made for beautiful morning walks with many birds and deer to keep you company. The neighbors were friendly and the host was responsive and helpful.
