Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our first time visiting Cinnamon Shores, and overall, the community itself is beautiful. Check-in and communication during our stay was easy and organized. The location of the house is great and the house was very clean. We also loved that we were able to bring our dogs. We were a little worried about construction noise (and the house next door is under construction) but we didn’t hear anything during our stay. The exterior of the home next door appears complete, and it looks like most of the remaining work is inside.That said, I would not recommend this house for families with babies or small children. There was no baby gear provided (pack ’n plays, high chairs, baby gates), and the hardwood floors with thin rugs weren’t great for crawling or sitting babies. There were also no dark bedrooms, bathrooms, or closets for nap time—one of the biggest frustrations was the lack of blackout shades. We had to put pillows against windows just to block some light. Even at night, neighboring houses’ outdoor lights shined brightly into the rooms, making it hard to sleep.There were also some maintenance issues:The master bathroom shower didn’t drain well.The freezer drawer barely opened.Worst of all, the downstairs AC did not work (or work well), leaving our daughter’s room over 80 degrees at night, even with three fans running.For the high price tag, we expected more—at minimum, room-darkening curtains/shades, extra beach towels, and perhaps some cold bottled water on arrival. The home is in a kid-friendly community, but we were surprised by how little it catered to families with small kids.I would recommend this property to guests traveling with dogs and without young children, but unfortunately, we won’t be staying here again until our kids are older.

Would have appreciated curtains or blinds in the afternoon when the western sun hits right in. And only complaint was the downstairs was HOT. (no matter how cool it was upstairs), thankfully two portable fans were provided in the downstairs room. And several sugar ants were annoying. Overall we love Cinnamon Shore and it’s amenities.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property was gorgeous, great location, very clean. We would stay again if the following items are corrected. There are 2 minor concerns and 2 major complaints. We’ll start with the minor concerns, the kitchen faucet didn’t function properly, made a loud noise and had a slight leak. The powder room fan leaked water onto the toilet and floor during rain. Now, the major complaints...the 1st floor of the house was hot compared to the 2nd floor. The thermostat on the 2nd floor had to be set to 66 degrees to make the first floor temperature tolerable. We still had to use to fans to cool the 1st floor bedroom. The window coverings on the bedroom windows are not sufficient for blocking out light. The master suite is on the 2nd floor, the neighbors had the interior lights on until 1-2am and our master suite was completely lit up, with the shades down. I have pictures and video.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: With it being our first Cinnamon Shore summer vacation and family vacation, our experience was one to remember. The cottage home was so beautiful, extremely clean, a comfortable stay and functional with supplies you didn’t think you’d need during your stay. From the beginning of first walking through the Cinnamon Shore office doors, the staff was super helpful along with a few cinnamon shore text reminders to make sure everything was okay during our stay, which was amazing to hear, to the pool and beach access being extremely upkeep at the South. Staying at the Cinnamon Shore was the most amazing thing we’ve done this year, our family had the best summer memories there and we can’t wait to experience it again next summer!

Easy to walk back and forth throughout the day. Would love to stay there again (when construction is complete!)

The one ask is that there are more window coverings for the living area and lower twin bed. If you have guests staying on the couch or twin, the sun comes up very early - and very little privacy.CS - the company was a bit more disappointing. We requested early check-in of 3pm and the house was not ready until 5. With groceries and dogs, that did not make it easy. Also, the cleaning person left a sack of trash in the unit, on the floor. I had also asked for a construction photo (as CS had offered) and it was never sent. Was just curious b/c we had 2 cars and a golf cart and wanted to make sure there was an area to park (which there wasnt - we got creative in the driveway) and also wanted to see if the green area was clear of debris for the dog. LOTS and LOTS of stickers in the grass. NOT the unit's fault - that's on CS

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have been coming to Cinnamon Shore for 3 summers now! We love it each time! Sea Pearl is a wonderful cottage. We loved several things about it! Most memorable would be the outside ‘mud room’ area in the carpet with space to store our beach goodies and hooks for our towels. It’s also elevated so it keeps little critters from getting into our stuff. The outdoor shower is also so convenient! The kitchen is gorgeous and easy to cook in. As a family of 4 + 2 guests on a few nights, it was comfortable. We love that it was pet friendly too so we could bring our pup. I really wish more rentals would do this!!! A few things to be noted: the construction in the area as of June 2023 is still very heavy; there were work trucks everywhere, sand hadn’t been removed from the landscaping (including in our rental driveway), and material dumpsters everywhere. God bless the construction crews. They are working diligently to get their jobs done! Also not anything to do with the home itself but the pools were luke warm; borderline hot tub. I asked the office to turn the chillers on (which Keira’s and South has) but they did not feel any cooler while we were there. The pools were also cloudy. Overall we love Cinnamon Shore and will be back next summer but geez I wish they would make the pools as ‘sparkling’ and ‘refreshing’ as they market them. As with all the taxes and fees for the rentals, I feel like you get what you pay for from the home but the pools could definitely be better.
