Welcome to The Vintage Mermaid Cottage, where vintage charm meets modern coastal comfort! Located just 350 feet from the private community beach access, you’ll be just moments away from soft sand, ocean breezes, and endless beach days.

Top-Level:

There is (1) bedroom, (2) bathrooms, living/great room, dining, and eat-in kitchen on this level.

- Smart TV with remote and streaming SPECTRUM (bringyour passwords because all your favorite subscriptions come with you to the beach) and deck access, wood-burning fireplace (bring your own supplies).
-Hall has a half-bathroom with vanity and toilet, full length mirror with great lighting.
-The open kitchen is the gathering place, is fully stocked with all gear that a beach chef could need, surrounded by extremely wide marble countertops to prep and serve on, and the overhanging bar seats 4. We have several blenders, several drip coffee
makers, Keurig coffee maker & manual coffee pour-over. A hand painted Mermaid wine rack awaits your favorite 12 bottles, and a dishwasher, microwave, oven, stove, refrigerator, toaster, can opener, spices, pots, pans, dishes, and elevated cooking essentials finishes the kitchen items.
-Dining Room with gracious table that seats 10, with sideboard to expand the serving and storage needs.
- Multi-charger stations at all sitting areas.

-Owner’s Oasis:  As the only bedroom on the top level has king bed, large dresser, big screen Smart TV with remote, between two comfortable armchairs. The slider doors with black out curtains provide direct access to hot tub on top deck with ocean views, wraparound deck to rest of levels. Newly renovated for peace-filled spa moments, the attached private owner’s bathroom has marble double vanity sinks, great lighting and ventilation with oversized ADA -friendly tiled walk-in shower with large rain-head ,
lots of towel bars, and ADA toilet.

Mid-Level: 
-Outside, you will find a trio of restful Adirondack style chairs to relax in on the mid-level front porch, a great place to bring a drink, book, and blanket to take in the salt air and local atmosphere.
-The foyer entrance with lots of wall hooks to hold traveler’s gear offers soaring views of open winding staircase with original watercolor art.
-Laundry Alcove with new Maytag full size washer and dryer with large clothes baskets, a loaded picnic basket, cleaning supplies, and fire extinguishers put it all at your fingertips, the hub of the activities.
-Digital thermostat keeps the temperatures exactly as expected.

There are (4) bedrooms and (3) bathrooms on this level:

Mermaid’s Haven: Bedroom with Double Bed and Twin Bed. Private Half Bathroom with marble vanity and ADA height toilet. 

Siren’s Song: Queen Master Bedroom with fresh-feeling cottage style bed, two generous closets. Smart TV with remote, Velvet black out curtains, and newly renovated, private ensuite full
bathroom with marble vanity, full tub/shower with handheld rain shower head and curved rod.
This room offers direct access to the private sunset terrace with lots of ambiance created by ceiling of twinkle lights and cozy seating areas flanked by antique arched shutters, peaceful space all hours of the day.

Wild Pony Hideaway: Bedroom with 2 Twin-over-Twin Bunk Beds and well-stocked bookcase with reading area shares newly renovated Jack and Jill Bathroom (double marble vanity and separate full tub/shower with handheld rain shower and curved rod) with ADA height toilet.

Neptune’s Retreat Queen Bedroom with queen sized woven rattan bed. Looks out to wraparound front porch + Smart tv. This room shares the Jack and Jill ensuite bathroom with Wild Pony Hideaway bunkroom.

Ground-Level:
-For nighttime arrivals, there is a covered box wall switch just under the carport that will help light your way to back door where keyless dry entry offers comfortable welcome no matter what kind of weather brings you home.
-Deep Sea themed Rec Room with sofa, lots of cozy seating, tables, games, tables, lighting, Smart TV with remote, and Mermaid Neptune cornhole board stored along wall (please always bring these inside to keep them safe). A pirate themed private half bathroom is attached, secreted
away in the rec room corner, no need to run upstairs or disrupt the game.
-Outside, there is an enclosed, large private outdoor shower, a separate foot wash station, back stairs to all other levels, basketball hoop, outdoor sink and counter for fish/grill prep, pirate’s toy chest with variety of toys, balls, and beach buckets. Two sets of custom designed cornhole
(Mermaid vs. Neptune and VW bus vs Surfboard) can be set up under the carport or in the grassy, sunny yard, please store away in rec room when not in use.
-Tucked under the mid-level and enclosed with lattice walls, the play area has comfortable chairs/side tables to relax around an oversized built in sandbox.
-Heavy duty hooks are conveniently placed for grill tools and your own beach equipment to hang/dry during your visit.
-The driveway holds 5 cars, and it extends under the cottage allowing dry access to grills, outdoor shower, and keyless entry back door to cottage.
-There are plentiful recycle and trash bins provided, and the city picks up very early
several times per week if you follow the schedule printed in kitchen.
-Wi-Fi and Spectrum streaming services on all televisions / computers.

-Community Extras: Nature ponds with turtles, egrets, bunnies, wild birds, (3) Private Beach accesses in community, Large Community Pool with covered Gazebo, tables, Bathrooms, and Changing rooms, , Community Tennis, Community Pickleball. Hours posted at each. Laminated
community passes hanging on side of fridge.

Hot tub (seats 6), hot tub available year-round. Wood-burning fireplace. Community pools are open in-season only, exact dates can be confirmed by the property management company.
-Vintage Mermaid Cottage vacation rentals include bed linens, with beds made prior to your arrival for convenience. We provide 1 bath towel and washcloth per advertised occupant, and 1 hand towel and 1 bar of soap per sink. Kitchens include drying towels. We also provide a starter supply of paper towels, dishwashing detergent, and toilet paper. Shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, hand soap, hand lotion are provided in each bathroom.

Guest provides personal care
items, sunscreens, beach towels, paper goods, zip locks, plastic wrap/alum foil, food, drinks, etc.
