Very peaceful neighborhood. You would never guess it is two blocks to downtown. There is a house on each side and not much across the street.
Everything in Jacksonville is easily accessible without a vehicle.
Must be at least 25 years of age to book.
Very nice, but we are older, my wife needed grab bars at the tub, she can't do stairs so the nice bed went un-used, tv was limited because we don' do electronics well and I didn't see a back door in case of fire.
The house was charming and comfortable. We were able to park at the house and walk to and through the main area of the town. We would stay again at this wonderful cottage.
This was my second time to stay at this property, and it continues to be a lovely getaway spot for friends for visiting Britt, wineries, shops and restaurants. Lovely and comfortable.
We really enjoyed our recent quick getaway to Jacksonville. Deanna's darling home was a perfect fit for the weekend. The house was everything as advertised. It was clean, quiet, centrally located and walking distance to the Britt. We will definitely book again when we return to Jacksonville. Thanks so much for sharing your home with us.
Adorable old house, with very effective a/c, and walking distance to everything.
Lovely craftsman home in quiet neighborhood. Clean and well maintained and close to everything. Absolutely charming and well stocked kitchen. We will definitely book again!
This was the perfect place for me and my friends to gather. 3 blocks from town so we walked everywhere. Only drove to a nearby lavender farm. Our best meal was at C Street Grill homemade pasta and wild salmon. The house was charming, with a wonderful porch for morning coffee and afternoon cocktails. I’m going to come back again for sure.
Place was comfortable. Love the location as we could walk anywhere in town including the Brit.
I spent 3 weeks here, mostly while working in the area. Very quaint place two blocks from the main street in Jacksonville. Place was great, comfortable, all the necessary amenities, owners are very helpful and friendly, as was the booking agency. Highly recommended.
This was the cutest house! Has everything you could need. Other places I have rented have been stingy with paper towels, toilet paper, garbage bags, dishwasher soap etc. I have actually had to go out and buy more. But here there was actually extra if you ran out! Very appreciated!
Every aspect of our return visit to Jacksonville and Ida's Cottage found our approval. The quick return of messages, the stocked pantry, the easy operation of the appliances, and the convenient and quiet location of the home spelled out relaxation for my family. The grocery store is two short walking blocks away, the local restaurants were friendly and accommodating, the walking tours around the village interesting - with friendly residents - all relaxing. Okay, to keep this real, my girls did mention the crunchy and noisy mattress covers in the twin-bed bedroom....... but they did sleep well, and so did we. We enjoy visiting Medford, Ashland, and Jacksonville, and look forward to the return. Thank you!
My friend and I visited Jacksonville to see 2 shows at the Britt Festival. This sweet craftsman home was perfect for us. It was walking distance to everything, in a beautiful quiet neighborhood.
Pleasent surroundings, loved the vintage vibe and such a great location. Was quite, clean and very cute
Had a great time and enjoyed the neighborhood right in the heart of Jacksonville!
My wife and I reserved the house for three nights. Our purpose was so that we could attend a concert at Britt. The house is wonderful. It is an Arts and Crafts style house in the old town of Jacksonville. The house is outfitted with everything you will need for a visit and it is only two blocks from downtown and walking distance to Britt. There are several restaurants nearby also. We had a wonderful time there and will certainly stay there again in the future. Loved the place.
Great location, close to shops and restaurants, friendly people, beautiful scenery. We'll be coming back.
Everything about this charming cottage perfectly filled the bill for us. Clean, well-supplied, and cute! We were able to invite extended family in for visits, something hotel rooms don’t accommodate, and walk downtown easily for meals and sight-seeing.
Shower head spraying from the intake pipe. Toilet paper in hall cupboard vs bathroom cupboard. Small stuff ~ everything else just fine.
Last second booking. Loved the location. (needs more pillows on the beds though)
