Brewster, Massachusetts
Relax at this beautifully updated cottage just .1 mi to Cape Cod Rail Trail and 1 mile to Brewster's amazing beaches.
This cozy vacation home will be a relaxing place to spend time while you return from riding a bike on the CCRT or strolling the miles of sand on the famous Brewster Flats. The bedroom has a queen bed and you'll have a separate room with two twin beds, so extra private space for kids. The eat-in kitchen has gas stove and microwave along with full size fridge. There's a porch in front and a deck out back where you can bbq and eat or relax. Escape the heat with central A/C, or have a refreshing outdoor shower when you come back from the beaches.
There's a dedicated parking space for two vehicles (tandem). Come enjoy the quiet side of the lower cape!
If you are looking for a cozy little spot to jump on and off the Cape Cod Rail Trail, look no further than this updated Brewster Cottage. We took full advantage of the CCRT, easily accessible from the cottage, and the local beaches, restaurants, and coffee shops just a 5-minute drive from the cottage. The property is very clean, updated, and comfortable for a family of 3. Check-in was super easy and communication was clear. One small note, while bed comfort is highly personal, we found the queen bed less than forgiving, so we needed to get creative. We would absolutely consider staying here again.
We enjoyed this quiet, clean, and cozy place, which is easily accessible to all of Brewster and Orleans.
Reason for staying here: My kids were part of a large camping group who were spending the week at Nickerson State Campground. I needed to work remotely. Location: 1.9 miles from Nickerson. So convenient! You could technically use the bike path across the street to ride into the campground. Adorable beaches the kids loved about 2 miles away. Great, safe neighborhood. I returned there at night, often by myself, and the location of the parking spot to the house was very close. Overall: For work as well as vacations, I stay in rented houses so I'm picky, but this house was adorable. It's small, but if you look at the square footage you'll go in prepared for that. It's clean. It was stocked with nearly everything. Newly redone. Lots of towels. I was grateful for the little extras in cabinets that let me make coffee before I had time to hit the Shaws down the street. The best: location, cleanliness, safety, newly redone feel. People the place might not work for: The house is small and part of a little village of tiny houses like it. If you're looking for a place where you can sit outside, have some drinks, and be loud this isn't the spot. If you have kids you want running around a grassy yard, this is also not the spot. There isn't a ton of privacy. But if you're looking for a safe place to lay your heads for (IMHO) a really good price for the area this place was adorable. Would I stay here again? Absolutely.
Went on a quick getaway for our family. Place seems newly renovated, so it was very clean. Great location, close to beaches and restaurants. Would stay again!
We absolutely loved the cottage. It was clean and perfect for our little family.
Beautifully renovated cottage, had everything and more we needed for comfortable stay. Thomas was very pleasant to communicate with to give us all info and adjust our stay based on our schedule. 2 minutes drive to beach was our every evening place to go. 100% recommend!
The cottage was absolutely perfect for my vacation! Not only was it exceptionally clean and in a great area, it had the little extras like board games for the slight rainy days. Even suggestions of what to do in the area and tips for where to eat. Definitely will be stay again.
