Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Typically we stay in Orleans. This house is just in Brewster bordering Orleans. 10 min walk down to the lovely bay we have grown so fond of with our wee children. Lots of tide pools. We invested in one of those carts to pull gear to the beach, but mostly ended up pulling our 4&5 yr olds. No need to get your car sandy. The house has a ton of common space. We did not use the pull out couch area for extra guests as we did not have extra guests. We used the couch and area for reading to our kids before bed. We had 9 total guests. The pull out area would be fine for a teenager or early 20s as it is just an open area near hallway at the top of the stairs. The house is overall lovely and the location is great. 5 mins to the grocery store in Orleans and really to any location mid cape. We do the puppet show at the Cape Rep Theater and nat hist museum every year with the kids. Cape Rep Theater was the property next door... we walked there. Museum was just a 6-7 min drive with traffic. We also support the Cape Cod Baseball teams. We were able to get to Brewster and Orlean fields within 5 mins drive. Only suggestion would be to swap the A/C condensers near the back deck/grill with the outdoor shower. (I did this at my own house) The condensers are loud and so we turned off A/C in the house while we ate out there. The shower is on a side of the house that faces neighbors, or have door swing open to backyard. Other than that. Great location. Nice House. RP Berkshire Hathaway a pleasure to work with. Shout out to Adam Marks
We spent one week here with family and it was a perfect set-up - open kitchen, large living room, multiple bedrooms. Great deck and backyard with fire pit for hang outs. House was very clean. Perfect location just down the road to the beach - definitely walkable but also easy to drive a car down with all of the beach gear to unload and drive back to the house quickly. Only downside is the house requires you bring all of your own linens and towels, including kitchen towels and bath mats. However, would definitely rent again!
Family friendly, clean and bright. Note that you must bring your own everything from soap and shampoo and olive oil and tin foil to linens and that sets it apart from other rentals we have had on the Cape. If that doesn’t bother you, then this is a terrific home- it’s a perfect location and is a beautiful home- much more than a vacation cabin, more like a pretty year-round house with a good outdoor shower! Would recommend highly.
