Unique holiday house in Dalsland

Close to nature, adventure, calm and far from stress and noise. Fully equipped to accommodate a larger family.

Space
The living space is 74 m2 spread over three bedrooms, a two shared living room, kitchen and a bathroom. In addition to this there is also a small loft (often the children's favorite playground) and a porch where you can enjoy your meals in the sun. For days with less sun, there is a wood burning stove in the living room where you can cook to make the house extra warmand cozy.

Guest access
The whole house and the surrounding garden are at your disposal. We provide you with bed linen and towels, one set per person / bed and stay.

Connect with guests
Even though we both grew up close to the house, none of us lives in the area. That's why our father, who lives about 30 minutes away, will take care of all things that need to be solved on the spot. But even if we are not there personally, please feel free to contact us with any questions via email or phone. That's what you're wondering, just ask!

Neighborhood, overview
The house is located in Ånimskog, in the heart of Dalsland, which has a lot to offer in terms of untouched nature. The countryside consists of small and large lakes, large forests, arable land and smaller mountains. Therefore, there are plenty of opportunities for various outdoor activities such as fishing, hiking, swimming, canoeing, etc. Just around the corner is the beautiful nature reserve Sörknatten (you can read more on the County Administrative Board's website) where a large part of Ronja Rövardotter was recorded. During the summer months you can enjoy delicious waffles in Sockenstugan just one kilometer away. The nearest resorts are Åmål and Mellerud, where you can find everything from grocery stores, restaurants, cinemas, cafes and various other shops. It is also worthwhile to investigate what events and activities that may be happening just when you are greeted, such as the annual light festival and the blues festival in Åmål. There are of course many more things you can do in Dalsland, so please ask us and we can help you find the information you are looking for!

Get around
There is no connecting public transport. So in order to easily get to and from the cottage, a car is recommended.

Other things to note
- There are, in fact, only three separate beds (excluding sofa beds and the ceiling), but since two of the beds are very large, there is more than enough room for 3 people in one and two in the other (see the pictures). There are also mattresses with the possibility to sleep in the attic. - If you want to bring a boat so we can easily arrange for parking of boat trailers nearby.
