Stayed Dec 31, 1969Great place to stay and enjoy nature. Close to town to enjoy the activities there. The Virginia Creeper Trail is right in front of the house for easy access whether biking or hiking. Very clean and spacious with everything you’ll need for your stay.

Stayed Jul 5, 2025Our stay was wonderful. With the creek at the back of the house and the Va creeper trail at the front it could not have been any better. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the porch in the rocking chairs and watching/ hearing the creek and walking on the trail.The home had everything you could need and the owners were very friendly.

Stayed May 1, 2025good as always, the town had some storm damage due to Hurricane Helene and 1/2 the biking trail was closed, some of the restaurants and the deck on the river had been destroyed. They were building it back when we were there, but it was blocked off for workers. Normally a great fishing area but we didn't catch anything. The owner said since the hurricane that it had not been good for fishing. None of it was the fault of the owners.

Stayed Mar 20, 2025We enjoyed our stay in VA. This cute little house is directly on the VA Creeper Trail and the river is behind the house. Cute fire pit area and really sweet neighborhood cat that my boys got to love on. We had a great stay and would definitely return.

Stayed Sep 20, 2024The house was very nice loved every aspect kids loved the swing and the creek only negative thing I could say about it was the mattress in the master bedroom was a bit firm for our liking but some people like it that way and it wouldn’t keep us from staying there in the future
