Stayed Jul 24, 2023Fabulous stay in gorgeous cottage with everything you need. Very helpful, welcoming hosts. Stunning countryside with beautiful walks. Highly recommend Italian Restaurant and book shop/cafe/deli in nearby St Boswells. Furnishings/decoration beautiful although not as depicted in online listing - living room not the bright room we were expecting. Now much darker although still very cosy and comfortable.

Stayed Mar 21, 2020We loved our time here - the owners actually moved us into The Mill House as one of our party was limited for health reasons to staying inside and the living area in that property is bigger. But we looked at both and they are so lovely; you can tell that they have been refurbished with love and feel like proper homes. The setting is absolutely peaceful and all you can hear in the garden is the gurgling of the little stream. We really appreciated the high quality of the bedding etc and found everything we needed in the kitchen. Our dog was also very contented and enjoyed her walks down to the Tweed. The owners couldn't have been more helpful and we look forward to a return visit. Many thanks!

Stayed Dec 29, 2017Well kept property but don’t book if you are expecting to be near to a village. Taxis not cheap and make sure you ask a price before booking. Train journey to Edinburgh from Tweedbank a lovely experience under an hour. Cottage had everything you need and the owners were on hand if you needed any advise.
