Stayed Sep 4, 2025Very nice place. Nicely decorated. The weather was unseasonably cold & windy so we didn’t get a chance to enjoy the outdoor amenities,(firepit, patio etc). Neighbor has a pitbull, that was definitely not a plus, it was good we weren't able to be outside much, if we were it may have created a problem.

Stayed Aug 3, 2024We had a great time at this property, with two young children (7, 4) the layout of the property was unique which was exciting for them. And the kids just kept calling it “the barn” “let’s go back to the barn” which created a fun memory. Everything was well taken care of and furnished. Communication before and after was great. The property is walking distance to so many things and the kids loved being able to walk to things. Also close driving distance to so many activities and many other great places within 30 minutes. We’re already all talking about the next trip to “the barn”

Stayed Jun 29, 2024The red barn was an awesome place to stay. The rain shower head made it worth it by itself. My friend and I loved staying in this house as it was right in the heart of Silver Lake. We were able to walk all over the town in minutes without being tired. I would love to rent this house again when we decide to go back to Silver Lake!

Stayed Jun 15, 2024Beyond the fact that we have a personal connection to the history of this property, we could not have found a better place to spend our 53rd wedding anniversary week. This charming renovated old barn is as comfortable as can be. So peaceful and quiet, yet literally centered directly in the hub of all activity that is Silver Lake. The hosts, Sharon and Jerry, have thought of everything to make your stay enjoyable and memorable!
