The Perfect Lakeview Retreat

I loved the layout of the house, and was very thankful that the host allowed us to use netflix/hulu/youtube tv. There is a washer/dryer, however we did not use it. Wonderful host and home!

It had everything we needed in a perfect location

Kevin was helpful and hospitable every step of our trip. The place is small, intimate and very comfortable with the amenities and necessities you want in a stay along the lake. Had breakfast every morning on the front porch with lake view between homes across the road, and built a fire in the outside pit every evening as the sun set and darkness amid the trees encroached. Friendly deer came within feet of the deck, apparently to beg for food, one morning and the guest book reveals that this must be a routine event. Shopping (Food, Liquor) is a nearby car ride, Antiques a short 15 min ride to Hawley, PA. Water activities and nearby cultural activities diminish after Labor Day but still something for everyone. We'll be back...

Cleanliness, quiet surroundings, relaxing atmosphere.

Our stay was wonderful. The home was inviting and very homey. We stayed during the off season with a toddler so we stayed in most of the time but there was a basket full of brochures if we wanted to go out. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils/pots/pans. The water pressure was awesome. The game selection was top notch. The beds were comfortable. The friendly neighborhood deer were fun to watch play in the yard.

This lake house was everything we could have asked for and more! The location was great and the house was exactly as described. Highly recommend for a fun getaway in the mountains!

Lovely location with view of lake. Ample space including large dining area. Quiet neighborhood and great sleep in comfortable beds. Hosts offered many modes of sharing info about home. They truly go above and beyond to ensure that guests are comfortable.

Wonderful place

This property was excellent in every respect. Very homey and very clean and well appointed. The beds were very comfortable, as were all the pieces of furniture in the living room. Nice view of the lake from the lovely, little deck.Will definitely stay here again next year!

The property looked exactly as indicated in the pictures. Lake access would have been nice, but not we were able to visit the shoreline elsewhere during our travels. The neighborhood was quiet, low traffic, and all the deer in the area was a pleasant surprise. We had excellent communication with VRBO and the owner. The neighborhood had some water issues, but a local restaurant was courteous and provided us with water to take care of needs at the house. The owner communicated the issue immediately and was eager to make accommodations to ensure we continued to have a great weekend. I'd recommend this home to anyone looking for space in the area.

Nice view of the lake, quiet neighborhood (off-season), plenty of wildlife, great place to stay for a small family!

My daughter and I enjoyed our stay. The place has a cozy feel to. Love that there was a grill (I love grilling in the summer) the firepit was extremely enjoyable and access to there Kayaks greatly appreciated. All furniture including the beds were comfortable! My one issue (which isn't so bad) was my daughter opened the front door, once open we couldn't lock it. To solve that I used the door and a chair in front of the door at night. Overall it was a fantastic place for a lake gateway!!

It was perfect. Comfortable beds and great shower pressure. It was very clean and had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend or stay again.

Relaxing stay in a tranquil setting. Cozy family room with a view of the lake. Great for drinking coffee, reading and watching movies. The cottage was rustic with lots of character. The host was very responsive, and permitted a later checkout time. Overall, very satisfied with this accommodation, and would highly recommend.

My husband and I went for a weekend getaway. The house was very clean and exactly as described in listing. It comes equipped with everything you could possibly need. The owners were very easy to communicate with and you can tell they truly want you to enjoy your time there. Would definetly stay again!

The home was lovely, cozy, and so clean, the owners left very detailed instructions for everything and had so many recommendations for things to do in the area! A 10/10 for the weekend!

We had a very nice stay. The home is. Dry warm and cozy. We especially liked the fireplace and morning coffee on the deck with the many deer that visited. Great location! Everything went very well with communication. We look forward to staying again in the future
