This was a wonderful property. Communications from the host were excellent. We had a little difficult finding the property for the final bit, but if you follow the what3words location to venues.canyons.compiler, it will take you to the driveway entrance. All in all - highly recommended.

The Old Schoolroom is restored with much care and taste resulting in a very comfortable cottage. There are lots of public footpaths to explore when stepping out the door and beaches and Canterbury are within a short drive through the very beautiful landscape. The hosts are very friendly and everybody seems to be raving about the welcome tray and fresh cut flowers... and they are right to :-)

The cottage was brilliant and a short drive frim Canterburry. The hosts were very helpful when we arrived and needed sime help with the heating. The surounding nature and the 12 cenury church added to the charm. We had an amazing experience.

The Old Schooolroom is a comfortable, cosy place to stay. Full of character and great memorabilia, it is fun to go through the old books and annuals on the shelves. Well equipped, nicely decorated and warm, you feel at home very quickly. The owners live next door and are friendly, welcoming and very helpful if you need assistance. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful week in the Old Schoolroom. Quietly located, with a cozy cottage garden. From the house you can make beautiful walks. Nice pubs nearby. Centrally located for Kent trips. The owners were on vacation but very friendly contact by mail. We felt welcome. Even the first breakfast was provided with delicious local products. Recommended. MP

We stayed in the Old School Room in May 2022 and found it to be well equipped and extremely comfortable. Waltham is a very small village in a quiet country location so a car is absolutely necessary then its pretty easy to get to most parts of Kent within 1 hours travelling. Jane and Hugh are caring hosts who made sure we had all we needed during our stay. Jane has added school related items to the decor which harks back to when it actually was a school room - a nice touch we thought. The mobile signal in Waltham (as in a lot of rural Kent) is poor to non existent but the provided WiFi is good. There's a small private garden for guests with table, chairs and a BBQ (although we never used it). We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to go back one day. David & Pauline Rust
