A spacious bungalow with plenty of parking. Useful having bus stop, accessed through the gate in the back garden and Spar shop a few minutes walk away. Positioned quite high above the town so walking to and from the town could be challenging but interesting alleyways and properties to see. A very comfortable and well equipped property but did find the bed rather firm. Good bathroom and separate toilet. Plenty of garden space.

We had a fantastic stay at the Old Orchard. The property is well positioned in Dartmouth, despite the steep hill it is doable and saves the hassle of Dartmouth parking. There are lots of steps to the property we'd suggest making that clear, we have family members that would have struggled but weren't with us on this trip. The property is in a good condition and well cared for. Facilities were great and everything was well thought through for guests e.g. dishwasher tablets. Everywhere was clean and tidy. The only problem we had was the main bathroom push sink plug didn't work (has obviously stuck closed before) and meant we couldn't use the sink for the entire stay - an alternative in next door WC was used ok for 3 of us but not a larger group - call made to house keeper on first morning - we're sure they'll fix before next guests. We didn't use it but great that Sky TV/Netflix BBC iPlayer available, even including a small selection of dvds - this wasn't made clear on house details but would have been good to know in advance especially if you have children/teenagers to entertain. Overall a great property and we'd definitely visit again.

We stayed for a week and really enjoyed it. The house had everything that we could need for four adults. Having spacious off road parking for two cars was a bonus. The house was very clean and comfortable. We walked into the town every evening for dinner and it was a pleasant walk although coming back is uphill which was quite a workout! It was really helpful having a washing machine and a washing line and airer but a washer/dryer or the ability to use the heated towel rails would be helpful on damp/drizzly days. Our dogs loved the garden and although fully enclosed, the front wall is quite low and there is a steep drop on the other side which could be dangerous. We were grateful for being allowed to bring the dogs as we understand that the property no longer allows dogs but it would have been helpful to have been informed that prior bookings with dogs were being honoured as we were very concerned that we had booked in error. Overall a thoroughly enjoyable and stay - thank you.
