My son played the piano all night

The natural beauty was amazing. My favorite moments were in the early morning. I would get up and soak outside in the hot tub. Just looking out at the forest and enjoying the sounds around me. The bed was comfortable and the shower was amazing. I truly enjoyed my quick stay. Will come back again.

Very easy to find. The YouTube video was a nice touch to find the home and the amenity’s. Will definitely look at brining more of our family back here. Loved it.

The host was friendly and accommodating. The location is great. There were a few things in the house that could be easily updated or improved that would make it better for guests, mainly the kitchen equipment.

The hot tub was very nice.

Wonderful stay at this location. Clean, accessible and well stocked. The hot tub was great. Beautiful views from the deck and all around the property. The owners were so helpful. We'd love to stay there again.

Overall a great place to stay. Not the most accessible to people with even minor mobility limitations.

Our family enjoyed everything about the property and really enjoyed the location, the space and the amenities.

It's unique. Very nice and quiet and private. The bed is ectremely comfortable. And the hot tub on the deck was really fun. I loved the open barn doors at the entry but especially by the bed.

Secluded location just miles from Portland. Quirky place with tons of charm and positive energy. Comfortable bed and lovely upper deck with great view. Kitchen could use more counter space and a proper oven if you’re planning to do any cooking but overall we enjoyed it!

Property was very neat and had lots of things to do! Location was amazing.

I liked the place. Was a super private place in the woods. Quiet and relaxing. Inside stairs were super steep but it was fine. Just don't get super drunk or high before you climb them and use the outside stairs if you feel it's safer. Had a wonderful time while on vacation in the Portland area

Was a great spot to just be away with my husband. Didn't have to waste time driving far. Hot tub small but did it's job. Cute little place well stocked and very unique! :)

Yes the review about noises in the wall upstairs is true, but didn't bother us.. we had a good time.. my only suggestion would be a tension rod and curtain or blinds in the big open bathroom window to help make the girls more comfortable.

We arrived Tuesday night of Thanksgiving week and our initial impression was positive in that the place was quiet, the interior was clean and the bed was comfortable. Wednesday morning I got a good look at the exterior and the back patio area shelving that is filled bottom to top with garbage, rusty old tools, single shoes, spilled cigarette ashcans, etc. Honestly we'd shrug this off and consider it part of the funky vibe, but with the addition of squirrels, opossum, or raccoons living in the ceiling it feels pertinent. More on that...we were kept up every night by loud scurrying and scratching in the ceiling and wall directly above our heads. The bedroom is in the attic space so the ceiling is directly above your head. This was disturbing to say the least. We tried to deal with it, but it proved to impact our sleep and my wife was, more than a little, freaked out. We tried to sleep downstairs on the air mattress that is mentioned in the listing and found that there were no sheets or blankets that fit it. There were some twin sheets that were literally balled up in a corner of a closet.We called Peter, the manager, after we got home to let him know the issues. He apologized and let us know that he was aware of the animal problem and basically told us there was nothing he could do about it. I can deal with quirky and even recognize the randomness of animal infestations. I can't accept being rented a property with a known issue that has such a big impact.

It was a beautiful setting in the woods, but sadly the pillow smelled like urine and there were mice running in the wall right behind our heads in bed and kept me up. Yuck.

Enjoyed our first stay at the Old Barn and knew it would be perfect for a quiet romantic getaway. It didn’t disappoint! Soaking in the hot tub in a cool gentle rain then warming up in the luxurious shower and cuddling up in the huge comfortable bed were exactly what we needed. And I loved the chance to serenade my husband on the baby grand! We’re already looking forward to our next stay!

My husband and I enjoyed a fabulous romantic birthday weekend at the “Old Barn” and we definitely plan to return! We were delighted with the globally eclectic decor, super comfortable bed, private setting, deck and hot tub and incredibly large shower… everything we needed for a romantic weekend. Plus a baby grand piano! So I was able to serenade him with love songs. Thanks for creating such a lovely space and making our stay easy and comfortable.

We enjoyed our stay at the Old Barn! We had close access to everything, and it was nice to come home to a quite and relaxing place. I'm giving only a 4 star rating because it's lacking bathroom facility on second floor with the master bedroom.
