Stayed May 20, 2023This place is the perfect place to go and enjoy time away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The location is beautiful and the owners are super helpful and made our stay super enjoyable. They gave us suggestions on where to go and get things we needed. There are also so many hiking trails all around! If you visit this area and are not an avid biker, you will definitely will need a car. We rented a car at the airport and it was perfect to move around. FYI: the smaller the car the better for all the rural roads in England. Also, read the notebook the owners provide at the beginning of your stay so you know how to leave the place afterwards. You will not regret staying here. It will be a memorable holiday/vacation.

Stayed Jun 11, 2022Thanks to Sara's directions finding the place went without a hitch. We had no trouble finding all the walks we wanted to do from here. Returning at night we were welcomed by a lovely long and winding driveway down to the farm and our cottage. The cottage was cozy and perfect for two people to spend their evenings relaxing to the quiet of the countryside. I was impressed with the level of details that went in to making this a truly exceptional accommodation.

Stayed Sep 13, 2021First time in the Peak District for us. Fantastic stay at the nook at further harrop farm. The property, people, views, everything was great. Unbelievable setting with picture perfect views. The Nook had absolutely everything you could wish for. Modern living in a rural setting. Fabulous. Would also like to mention the local celebrity “dolly the dog” who visited us every evening at the nook, she was lovely but not forgetting Alfie and Charlie (dogs). All in all perfect, can not say anymore. Thank you Sara and Wilson.

Stayed Jul 9, 2021My husband and I needed an idyllic break away - and we got just that! What a gorgeous spot, we felt miles away from anywhere but were still close to amenities and shops when needed. Angela and Sara were both super helpful and fantastic hosts. When we arrived the property was beautifully kept and felt so comfortable. The bed was great, we had a good night's sleep. It was lovely sitting out after dark under the stars with the sheep bleating and the horses neighing. Just pure countryside bliss. Will definitely be returning! Thank you! X

Stayed Oct 5, 2020My husband and I stayed recently at The Nook for a week and we were welcomed by Sara and a little later by Wilson. The cottage is in beautiful surroundings and as a Macclesfield girl, I felt at home. It was all ready for us when we arrived and was very clean. There was everything we needed including milk in the fridge for a lovely cup of tea. The cottage has been renovated in keeping with the surroundings and is charming. We had a comfortable stay. We will definitely visit again in the future and hopefully be able to go for some walks. This stay we didn’t have time as we were visiting family. Thank you to both Sara & Wilson and hopefully see you soon or when Covid permits. Take care Annie & Phil. October 2020 xx

Stayed Dec 31, 1969The Nook is a lovely newly renovated barn conversion. Everything is clearn and in good condition just as the photos show. It is just the right size for two people. The location is great for some peace and quite and relax time out in the wild. The owners are very welcoming and friendly and the farm is lovely. Lots of easy walks direct from the grounds or within a few miles from the property so you dont need to drive far to make the most of this area. We would stay again.
